What's funny is that all of you are saying that this is a fake story but look real hard at the world around us and the game's storyline. North Korea is in a military buildup. Kim Jong-il, in the game, died in 2012 but he died this year, near the beginning of 2012. America enters a economic depression. What's our economy doing now? It sure isn't going up. America cuts back on military spending. If Congress doesn't pass a budget, automatic triggers cut back on military spending.

Recommend not buying. Multiplayer isn't memorable, similar to how medal of honor was. Campaign was probably the worst campaign I have ever played. It was terrible acting and I didn't even know that was possible in a video game. My favorite quote of the game was similar to this

-"We'll be able to use them against them" Cmon WTF really. It was a slow paced campaign with a bad ending.

@stickman1234567891 64 player online multiplayer with jets, APC, tanks, and jeeps. Fully destructible environments, like you can shoot a rocket at a wall and it blows up. you can even topple whole 5 story buildings. has 4 classes: sniper, medic, assault, engineer. which promotes teamwork.

not to mention kickass graphics, animations and physics that put crysis 2 to shame

There are other great games out there and Homefront is one of them. If Battlefield was the only modern war game coming out, I wouldn't even play xbox.
