How can you judge something when you have never even heard it? The thing is, an actual good company got hold of Code Geass -- not some fucking cunt of a shitstain company like 4Kidz or Funimation. Surprisingly the dubbed people for this one are surprisingly good, brilliant emotions etc. you should seriously watch it.

Also I've noticed in the Jap version, voice actor for Lelouch changed to the retarded one in the vid. the Eng. version is much better

The Yugioh dub was good, and if not for that dub, Yugioh Abridged would also not exist, which is by far the best "Americanized dub" I have yet seen.

I agree. Most english anime dubs sound like average people with average voices. The Yu-Gi-Oh dub was great, because the voices fit the characters. Yugi sounds like a tween, Yami Yugi sounds like a dude who commands ancient power, Pegasus sounds like a maniacal rich guy, etc...

The main reason english dubs get so much hate isn't because they don't sound like the japanese version, but because they're not exaggerated and cartoony enough.

I know that Lelouch kind of turned evil toward the end, but he had a good reason! Charles and Marianne seemed like they were doing the right thing for Lelouch and Nunnally when really what they were doing was not at all what they wanted. Maybe he had an odd way of doing things, but if Lelouch had succeeded he would have accomplished what he was trying to accomplish. Others just didn't see the method to his madness. I don't like that Lelouch betrayed his friends, but he had a good cause.
