This tutorial made me change from a ass-kicked lower silver onto an ass kicking upper silver, will get promo for sure. It made me realize the importance of making extra production buildings, now i spend every single dime i have in-game and get huge deathballs instead of small platoons of units. Kudos!

@nlskiller This might not be the best answer, but the only thing that works for me is doing harass and if possible destroy their natural so they can't reach mutas easily (if they're rushing a timiing push with 3 gate opening should work). But I'm gold so who knows if I'm right =/

Which is laughable, this would only work against people who dont have a clue / dont know how to hold off eary preasure.

Your second comp would be rofl stomped by a typical deathball which includes a few colossus, since you have no vikings there to shoot them down. Not only that but without medivacs you would be screwd.

MMM = Marine Marauder + Medivacs.

You never mentioned Medi.

I might also add that one other way someone gets beaten by only marine marauders, if is the person is teching up way too fast / being too greedy.

The comps you have listed in your posts with the compositions, are laughable.

There are many strats people can do without having a clue, 4gates comes to mind, but you should not lose to only marine marauder comp unless you are teching too fast, being too greedy, or are just bad.

@ihatethissitejkh write them on a sticky not, place on monitor, the builds he's doing are very safe simple builds, 3 stalker rush is a fairly mainstay anti 4gate build so you should learn it, and the other two are both 3gate expo and 3gate robo, just scout to figure out which to use, basically you only have to learn 2 openings for his strats and then the rest is based on scouting and experience.

@WilkoPhilip post replays or you can't do it, i have no doubt that apollo would crush you, banes against protoss is a really bad strategy, they aren't nearly as cost effective as they are against other zerg or bio-terran; zealots tank them easily, stalkers even more so, and in the words of several crushed zerg, 'WTF FORCE FIELD IMBA!' mutas are only good if you're playing an impatient toss, and roaches were designed to be crushed by immo+stalker+sentry, toss mainstays.

@GreedyGamerLP im a rank 7 masters 700 points name: pedobear and bane drops are a VERY viable strategy especially after +2 melee which means it can kill probes with 1 bane. Also, mutas are especially great against turtling toss because it forces them to run around their base trying to defend against a swarm of mutas killing their mineral line or pylons. and obviously pure roaches would be crushed by those unit compositions but i usually go pure roach in mid game when its just gateway units

@mitsushiro1 mutas are not at all difficult to defend against for a remotely competent player, banes killing probes is iffy at best, i don't know who you're facing that you think either of those are good strategies, i would have to see replays, again; if mutas blink stalkers, hell most toss get blink anyway, so all they have to do is NOT be terrible. banes in the mineral line, sounds good IF you can get them in, and gate units can stand up well enough against roaches with decent FF.

@mitsushiro1 p.s. any master league player should have +2/+2 by the time you do the drops, which negates the effect of +2 weapon, makes zealots slightly less viable if you have +2 armor, but it's a necessary step toward the late game. using mutas and drops the way you describe sounds like you're relying on your enemy to ignore the mini-map, have no defense, and choose to NEVER use his units, in which case, stop playing against bronze/silver.

Its really hard to defend early pushes if you do 3 Gate Expands for lower league players. And this happens often in bronze league because like noone plays FEs or any early expansions. Thats what i think!

@sc2nub They're chosen because they are very solid and pretty easy to execute without high APM. Ok they probably won't work in Masters, but they are meant to help you learn the game and improve your mechanics, so that you are able to use more micro/APM intesnsive strategies when you are better.

@4thGearReviews The difference in skill is probably much less noticeable when you're already above the entire skill range. But trust me, high bronzes and silvers are much much better than low bronzes. We're talking like the difference between having an 8 stalker army at the 8 minute mark and having 2 marines at the 8 minute mark.

Both may seem really small at higher levels, but it's plainly obvious which is better.

Play the challenges. When I was in bronze they helped my mechanic improve sooo much.

Learning hotkeys, not forgetting probes/pylons. Very useful.
