So despite him complying, he still gets arrested and charged with not complying with their orders. Again, it was only after they said "To the other side of the street" that he got it.

OK I see what happened.. The cop cars on the street made a clear line. You can tell a large group of people know because they're on the other side of the street. So this guy went way past the cop line .. You can see the cop cars making the line.
If what these cops were doing was justified, they would have no problem being filmed. Because of what they are doing is illegal and unconstitutional they do not want their actions made public. @portsanity i dont what to think, not enough information to draw on, the video is edited too short. i saw a man repeatedly told to go back behind the line of police cars. the man repeatedly only stepped back one step. after several requests to move away beyond the cars the police then escalated to an arrest. if that man didn't want that to happen, he could have moved beyond the line of cars.

I am the photographer in the video. You see the whole story. I showed up, took one picture, and the rest is in the video. I was taken to Santa Rita jail and held for 14 hours before I got out on $5000 bail. The arrest report says "refused to back up". My arraignment is February 6.

You cannot film everything from far back because they have an habit of surrounding the victim when doing something illegal.
The reason he was probably arrested was to see if he caught anything incriminating on his camera and so they could deleat it if that was the case

@portsanity i dont what to think, not enough information to draw on, the video is edited too short. i saw a man repeatedly told to go back behind the line of police cars. the man repeatedly only stepped back one step. after several requests to move away beyond the cars the police then escalated to an arrest. if that man didn't want that to happen, he could have moved beyond the line of cars.

@MsSarahJ56 thats not true. there is a line of police trying to do crowd control. in those situation they just want people to get out of the area. they will not want to arrest someone unless they won't leave. the guy wouldn't leave, yes he backed up like two steps, everytime, but he was in their face causing them to have to deal with him personally. in that instance there is only so much they will take. eventually if you stay in their face they will go into enforcer mode.

I am the photographer in the video. You see the whole story. I showed up, took one picture, and the rest is in the video. I was taken to Santa Rita jail and held for 14 hours before I got out on $5000 bail. The arrest report says "refused to back up". My arraignment is February 6.
