However, I cannot understand how Revelation, Daniel or Esther was a complete mystery to me, as well as to everybody else, until just a few years ago and so I have concluded that my recently discovered ability to understand end times apocalyptic literature must be a gift from the Holy Spirit, in much the same way as speaking in tongues is a gift from the Holy Spirit.

Please, take a look at the green movement in Iran. How true Muslim Iranians were fighting against the government of Iran and their trial for getting nuclear bomb. And they had screamed against Russia for supporting government of Iran. It seems that they have started with bear hands to fight against this world war III. And to know that true Muslims believe in both Jesus Christ and God the father, and other prophets look at Quran.

Well we are in sorrows. And it could shorten again but do you see what I'm saying with the days shortened? We are in bad time but it will get MORE WORSE over time. Think about it. However, I cannot understand how Revelation, Daniel or Esther was a complete mystery to me, as well as to everybody else, until just a few years ago and so I have concluded that my recently discovered ability to understand end times apocalyptic literature must be a gift from the Holy Spirit, in much the same way as speaking in tongues is a gift from the Holy Spirit.

@mysty0 Most Bible verses are simply numbered according to their sentence sequence There have been hundreds, perhaps thousands of Bible translations into hundreds of different languages, but the verse numbering, at least for Dan. 9, is always the same. I challenge anyone, if he thinks he has a better verse structure, by all means let's hear it. Until then, it's pretty safe to assume, that the other thousand translators got it right.

But there have been other prophets as well which it is all spoken them both in BIBLE and QURAN. And since they were prophets they have said the truth. The way to God is one way and all the prophets talk about the same thing. Now Mohammad was also a prophet talking about the same way, as all the Prophets talked about.

Please, take a look at the green movement in Iran. How true Muslim Iranians were fighting against the government of Iran and their trial for getting nuclear bomb. And they had screamed against Russia for supporting government of Iran. It seems that they have started with bear hands to fight against this world war III. And to know that true Muslims believe in both Jesus Christ and God the father, and other prophets look at Quran.

sshAPful, I appreciate that you have reached out to we Christians here as you have. I know good Iranian Americans that denounce the events taken place in Iran since the fall of the Shah. However, please understand that to "believe in Jesus" is not to merely acknowledge that He lived. It is to acknowledge that He was the One and only Son of God, sent to redeem us of our sins; Heaven can only be reached through belief in Him as our Savior. Such would not be consistent with Islam. Yes but the bible never said it would be big. It is a sign that the last big earthquake which was haiti marked us to be in the end times. Did the days get shorter, YES! Now every one knows that we are in the end times because that part is in the revelations, the last chapter of the bible. That prophecy is fulfilled. I can only shorten once, it has, so its fulfilled. where does the bible only say the day can shorten once? Jesus says in matthew chapter 24 there will be earthquakes in diverse places. there may be a larger earthquakes than the 8.8 in chile that may cause the days to be shortened more. the days being shortened may not even be from an earthquake at all but by some other disaster. we are not even living in bad times as are to come so don't jump the gun yet. Jesus said in matthew 24 this is the beginning of sorrows

Well we are in sorrows. And it could shorten again but do you see what I'm saying with the days shortened? We are in bad time but it will get MORE WORSE over time. Think about it. Could it actually be forfilled? Maybe it was just another sign that our lives are living the chapter of the revelations(the end times). Maybe... Only god knows the true interpretation of the bible. I'll take what you say into consideration, but my idea is just as correct. We'll never know, only god will.

Hello - yes the days will be shortened but He said that it would be shrotened else no flesh will survive that means that it would need to significantly shorten. I mean in Trib things wont be rosy cosy right??? then we need to assume He will reduce a day by 12-20hours??? not just 0.5 seconds whatever it was.I agree with you that we are getting warnings but i dont think that 0.5 seconds will help much. Why do you waste your time trying to rationalize what is said in that book when even the Church admits it is a cornicopia of rewritten, inaccurately translated, recopied, plagiarized, and fabricated texts. There are no original Biblical texts, and most texts were fabricated by Church doctors. To think we can believe this plagiarized mythical story as fact, is an insult to our intelligence, and morality. To believe that an elusive invisible all powerful god needs to sacrifice his son, and threaten everyone with everlasting suffering to get us to worship him is ludicrous. Many Church clerics today admit the stories are allegorical and not true. That means ''Jesus'' died because of an allegorical story?
