  • Thanks for your videos. very helpfull

  • Hey how come you didn't realign the index marks on the drive shaft to the one's on the diff?

  • @4age8you he most likely twisted the driveshaft a little in the transmission which would move the marks on the diff

  • Thank you, now I can replace my ford ranger u-joint.

  • Thanks-a-lot for posting this series bud! You da man.

  • THANKS! You always give great instructions for someone with a limited toolbox thats working from home. It gets frustrating when these videos show all kinds of special tools required. Thanks again.

  • hey man i have a 72 cutlass and im trying to change the front u joint but it want come off how you are doing it any ideas im about to atempt using a press

  • Wow, can he ever hold a big shaft tight!

  • put some loctite on them man

  • just wanted to say you are the man I have referenced your videos a couple times for help you haven't failed me yet, and you have kept me out of the big name company mechanics garages.. Keep POSTING and yes I am subscribed!!!

  • putting the drive shaft back on after having replaced the u-joints.

  • I love the rear wheel drive vehicles (those with a rear differential and a driveshaft, obviously), because they are very strong and support tons of pressure and power, like the Mercedes' ones and the Corvettes.

  • Thanks a bunch. Videos gave me the confidence to do it myself and save cash.

  • Awesome videos man. This will definately save me a bunch of cash!

  • fuck i hate working in a cold garage like that!!!!!!

  • how do u know? or when do you replace a u jonit

  • you will know your u joints are bad if first you hear a knocking noise coming from the rear of your car when shifting and accelerating...if you hear this noise go under your car and try to shake your driveshaft and if there is play in the driveshaft it usually means ur u joints are shot...its a cheap fix if u do it by urself

  • This helped me alot with R & R on my Ranger driveshaft. I removed the shaft to grease the splines after watching this video.

  • Great video. I'm about to tow a 93 Chevy S10 Blazer with RWD and will have to disconnect the driveshaft in order to tow it with the rear wheels on the ground. This helps a bit with knowing how to reattach it after I'm done.

  • great video. maybe i can trouble shoot my ford econoline 250 drive shaft. thank you.
