  • So... it's just a cryptex? -.-

  • if i ever find this it will make a muggle out of me...

  • @progeocaching. I just wanted to know how u make this and ur other ones.

  • @kghere00 YouTube doesn't let me post links in the comments, however if you go to my Progeocaching site and do a search on "Amazing", you'll see a description of this (scroll down the search page). In the comments section there is a link to a site with instructions on how to make it.

  • How is that Geocache? o.O

  • Mmm... Beer

  • "GeoGhetto"? As who says it?

  • Looks like the nuke from 24 :)

  • So what stops the three tubes sliding out of each other? I was thinking of making something like this, but i don't understand how they spin but don't slide out the end?

I'm confused, it doesn't take much

  • @geocachespoilers . I think they are held in place with the metal bar. Feel free to contact MonsterCatAmbush for more details.

  • @geocachespoilers this is a cap on the end of the cache, when he pulled it out there was red tape on then end of the container, when he put it back in the cache in not there anymore, so I believe there is a cap on the end could be wrong

  • We need more cachers like you. I have gotten into solving puzzle caches, but I haven't seen one like this!

  • We have a local cacher here in Prescott, AZ. who created 3 very similar to that one, just a bit smaller, and one is located inside the Public Library (the whole puzzle is there, including the cache container; he got permission from the Library to place it there), another is on a local trail, and a 3rd (related to the one at the Library, but separate) is located at an old, abandoned (but safe) mine shaft about 15 miles from the Library.

  • @progeocaching Did you know I am doing another space launch? I am currently raising funds for it...

Youtube doesn't let me post a link in the comments, so please google kickstarter geocache in space to check it out and get a travel bug a seat on the shuttle!

  • Not too shabby, I also made a Cryptex but used a different design. I really like how you used the metal to act as the reader and to hold the couplers in place... that is slick! My Cryptex is hidden underground and to find the pass phrase you have to shine a flashlight at a wall to charge up glow in the dark paint. GC23ZFE

  • @dicksnail. That's what I'm talking about! Love the high quality creative caches. Also love your space cache.

  • Very cool, would love to come across something like that one of these days.
