3:33 Do you even know what Mass is? The mass of the player has absolutely nothing to do with the Momentum of the ball! Your example is more based on the physical aspect of the player. Your just comparing one weak player against one strong player. If you REALY wanna show momentum why dont you throw a 10 lb bowling ball into the pins against almost weightless syrofoam ball? The lighter ball will lose so much momentum it probably wont even reach the pins. Stay in school :D

Actually no, there has to be oil for the hook to work, as the ball doesn't so much roll down the lane as slide down (sliding friction vs rolling friction) and spins on its axis, that's why hooked balls tend to veer toward the gutter before pulling back to centre and striking the pins at an angle.

definitively you do not deserve an A. Neither in Physics or bowling. Fluids have an important part in the bowl, due to the conditions of the oiling on a lane,(the oil is a fluid) and this it exists in a bowl alley, and definitively they have a lot of influence in the game, since the oil responds to a many physical conditions and definitively it has much influence in the game.

Your physics is very vague and you don't get very deep into the potential energy, etc.

Your explanation of Newton's second doesn't do justice. The law states that Force = Mass times Accel. It's so much more than what you said.

Newton's 3rd Law states that for every force there's an EQUAL and OPPOSITE force. The only way the ball would go left as a result of Newton's 3rd is if the ball was going from the left. This also doesn't explain how the rest of the pins get knocked down.

you know that you are wrong fluid friction has alot to do with higher rev bowlers, because they play such an extream line they depend on the oil in the midlane to hold the ball and give it the skid snap action
