@Bubblesnuffer Hoffman has "Anonymity." The viewers are never told how the F.B.I. found out amanda was helping John though. :| As for the original letter John left for Amanda, we will never know what it said :(

@thridkazekage300 that was actually new footage shown after the credits to SAW VI Directors Cut. --Some say Amanda went and talked to [Corbette] meanwhile Jeff was saving the Judge. (Since as you see in my video, Amanda is holding the gun, and then the scene ends. Which is when (according to some) Amanda approached Corbette. Although, this scene raised numerous controversies to how Amanda knew Hoffman would rescue Corbette, and Jeff would fail.-We shall see how it all plays out, SAW VII

some please answer me. At 2:27 Amanda open the envelope. But have something that not be explained. There are many papers in the envelope. And not only the letter of Hoffmann.

Up to this point, we do not know. Some say it was a Director screw up. Others claim that Hoffman switched the envelope, with the one that John had originally left for Amanda.

Because originally Darren didn't want the letters in the envelope answered, so they just used whatever kind of documents they had to place in it. He wanted the fans to make up their own decision (like with Dr. Gordon). Patrick and Marcus decided to answer it, just as they plan to do with Dr. Gordon. Well if things haven't changed...
