  • Nice light fixture.

  • YOU GOT THE HALFPIPER THAT DAVE HAD THAT I SAW ON HIS CHANNEL!!!?? niceeeeee

  • Like it good old switch start fitting!

  • Good job DavidFromAE! Dieselducy, you have a neat, unique fixture! This has inspired me to build a similar one, using F13T5 preheat lamps. I should be able to use 13 watt ballasts from PL13 lamps and fabricate starter sockets with some I have. The F13T5 lamps are 20 inches long and say "preheat" on the box.

    ;-)

  • what do you mean when you say a "preheat" fluorescent light?

  • with the impersonator l is the letter i so youtube it's not this guy

  • That is an awesome home made halfpiper you have there.... DavidfromAE is a great artist there! Love it!

Anyway who is dieseIducy??? the one with an i instead of an L......

  • this is somebody impersonating me, please block and report him..

  • You put a blacklight in it

  • Why replace the fixture? Seems odd to me. Nice addition to the collection, though!

  • Glad you like it! The reason it says to use rapid start lamps is because I used the ballast cover from a wraparound fixture to make the channel and it had that stamped into it. The back is made from the ballast cover of a strip fixture. Also note that I drilled 4 holes in the starter casings. This was mainly because I haven't seen that done before but I thought it would look cool.

  • and this lite is truly a work of art :)

  • wow you can see the starters glow for a second as power is applied thru them
