This is so so terrible! The poor little thing. I felt so attached to it. I just wanted to cuddle little Britches in my arms like it's adopted mother did. I love love LOVE sooo much the ending, where they hug each other, and then Britches nearly falls over the edge, but no; his adoptive mother pulls him back up into such a tight hug that makes him feel so secure, like he's never been! So touching.

A new leader kills all the infants that aren't his, usually by biting them in the gut, thereby giving the baby a slow painful death. Cont, again, (will he ever shut up?) Experiments like these are pretty useless. All the data they got from this doesn't tell you anything but how monkeys act blinded from birth. If they are blind at birth, they become prey in the wild. A human would know to react to the sound naturally. Monkeys could learn this, but they don't need to. I questioned this experiment from the start. Since I was not working for them, I was ignored. I still want to know what this accomplished. (Ok, I STFU).
Cont' Now, I have a private lab, and about 800 monkeys. I never have to hurt any. I use the monkeys that are injured by falls, or other monkeys. I have a little, sweet, macaque that had a complete spine break. She can now walk for 1/2 hr a day and has made my desk her home. I built a box so she could rest here. In my labs, there are no cages, no doors. I take the time to train them to work with me. Not do-able in a commercial lab, not too much profit in it.
This is exactly what I am against. I worked in the labs 31 yrs, and now have my own. We were studing spine injuries, and we had one that broke his back. I wanted to try and heal it, but I was told we couldn’t because the break was not “controlled”, and I had to put him down. I said nature wasn’t controlled, and this was perfect. We could see how spinal injuries could heal in the real world. In the end I lost, and he was killed.

So what is the difference, these poor animals don't have the choice, they cannot let anyone know what they are feeling. It's sick. I think that criminals should be tested on instead of animals, they lost their rights when they committed the crime that put them in prison. I think that it is great that Britches got rescued and finally got to live a normal life.

Cont, again, (will he ever shut up?) Experiments like these are pretty useless. All the data they got from this doesn't tell you anything but how monkeys act blinded from birth. If they are blind at birth, they become prey in the wild. A human would know to react to the sound naturally. Monkeys could learn this, but they don't need to. I questioned this experiment from the start. Since I was not working for them, I was ignored. I still want to know what this accomplished. (Ok, I STFU).

Cont' Now, I have a private lab, and about 800 monkeys. I never have to hurt any. I use the monkeys that are injured by falls, or other monkeys. I have a little, sweet, macaque that had a complete spine break. She can now walk for 1/2 hr a day and has made my desk her home. I built a box so she could rest here. In my labs, there are no cages, no doors. I take the time to train them to work with me. Not do-able in a commercial lab, not too much profit in it.

This is exactly what I am against. I worked in the labs 31 yrs, and now have my own. We were studing spine injuries, and we had one that broke his back. I wanted to try and heal it, but I was told we couldn’t because the break was not “controlled”, and I had to put him down. I said nature wasn’t controlled, and this was perfect. We could see how spinal injuries could heal in the real world. In the end I lost, and he was killed.

Animal testing, as well as all other forms of animal exploitation, is wrong. There are other ways to develop medicine, etc. Vegan diets are healthier. There's no excuse for all this exploitation, and it needs to stop.

I'm surprised that animals are still used for human research, instead of purely finding information and medical cures/vacc/treatments etc for that particular species. So where do we get our human subjects? Perhaps the convicted rapists, paedos, murderers, terrorists, child traffickers etc? Repays their debt to society, eases prison over-crowding and is a crime deterrent?!

The animal dealers who engage in this vile business are classifed as Class B dealers, and are licensed by the USDA. Class A animal dealers, also licensed by the USDA, already breed tens of millions of animals for research.

If this was the job of a psychopath, there would be no harm in buying shampoo or cosmetics. But it's not, this is standard, for as much as that veterinarian might say it's "incredibly cruel", this is nothing outstanding (see LD 50 tests, Draize tests...).

i've been in oregon for the past 2 months and just got back. i checked my inbox on youtube and saw a ton of comments telling me to f-off and so forth. i asked my brother if he knew anything about it and he told me that he has been using my account to get people angry. i just wanted everyone to know that it was not the real me doing it and that i am sorry for any annoyances he might have caused. he is now grounded for the whole summer. sorry again and God Bless.

GO ALF! If they were worried about what people warned them about and this being illegal,none of these animals would have a chance. I wish there were more people out there like them.
