I was riding in the rain on the outside lane of a highway offramp when this Mercs understeered right into the side of my bike. And he took off after that!

I had a similar accident... also a stupid Merc, full frontal collision. The dent in my tank was even bigger than yours though, but luckily I could stand up and my wife picked me up. My VFR was good for the bin, a month later I rode a K1300S, still have it. Don't let these pricks stop you from doing what you like.

i was driving my 2005 kawaskai ninja zx6r 636 and hit a van that turned left right as i entered the intersection, i flipped my bike and landed two lanes over onto oncoming traffic. i hit my face on his back right panel as well, but i was wearing a helmet. although i didnt crash such an amazing bike, im glad you were wearing a helmet too. ill tell you what i was told. One year later my lawsuit is still pending. They paid for my bike but not my medical. Bad memories when I saw u laying there! God bless brother!

I've been hit by dumb motorists. A guy did a u-turn BEHIND a large SUV in the middle of the intersection. I didn't have a chance at dodging his car luckily I jumped off my bike and my body missed the car. Rolled 38ft. I've had a kawa ninja 500R for almost 6 months now. Saw them cutting away your riding gear, that stuff isn't cheap either. That's nuts,just glad to hear you survived. Fear is a helpful tool, specially ridin a bike. Makes you watch for the others on the road more.

@RubberSideDown2 yea cage drivers def make have seconds thoughts about getting a bike even though i really want one this july a county officer was killed by a women driving a lexus suv who just didnt see him the officer was off duty and just riding flew 17ft he didn't make it this is really what scares me most about bikes bikes aren't dangerous its the ppl in cages that are like texting while driving of doing your make up some ppl are so irresponsible it irritates the hell out of me

@djfrankevega i did have my camera on but the crash destroyed it. i had a cheesy camera that if hit hard enough it shuts off and deletes the current video. Needed a go pro
@TheHardCoreHillBilly gear worked great. thick pads to. it was a zip together 2 piece. no road rash. the gear was named "made2ride" i got it second hand so not sure if its still out there to buy
