Idk why but I always interperate Serj's work in an extreamly socio politcal manner. Especially when it involves stuff about Suicide. It seems like he's speaking out about how Teenagers kill themselves for near stupid reasons due to Corporate and Politcal practical hypnotism in movies and in songs that always talk about Love. It seems as though he's speaking out against this in every song. And this one delt with the aspect of Teen Suicides resulting from it....

Here's my interpretation of the song:

A magician sees a young woman one day, falls in love with her, and casts a spell on her so she'll fall in love with him as well. However, the spell has side effects, and the woman hallucinates and develops a darker alter ego who lusts for the magician.
