If Megaman X9 ever comes to fruition maybe it will have special combinations of 6 and 8. Like having to rescue injured reploids, and using medals to purchase extra space for different power ups, ooh best yet a special level up system for Mechaniloids deleted they drop orbs that can be used to power up equipped abilities like Jumper, or a new ability called safe grip which can be leveled up twice times 1: elemental safety: no sliding on ice no being blown about, 2: protection from spikes etc.

Capcom has really been treating megaman like shit lately, I've lost a good amount of faith for the series over the last 4 years sadly to say.X9 and ZX3 are long over due, and I'm not a big Legends fan so the legends game that should be releasing on the 3DS does not apeal to me that much.It's really ashamed in my opinion.

I think it's better primarily because of all the powerups you buy with the medals. On the other hand I liked X-6 because you had to save reploids in order to power up the characters.

@nypad5 Thanks! That was actually me. I tried saying the whole thing but it just didn't sound right. I always liked the official X4 title sequence so I tried to keep it as accurate as possible, so I just blended the "X9" together. Even though it's my second amateurish Vegas production, I think it still looks and sounds alright. =P

Well actually, X7 had both forms. Side view and a controllable camera and the ability to go all 8 directions, whereas X8 was indeed semi-3D, or "suedo-3D" if you will. Three dimensional characters and environments, but a fixed side view camera.
