they have not really game up with anything amazing. a few weeks ago i said to my friend it takes so long for this to load and to play the song, it would good if you could just turn it on play sraght away, so if i thought of that they didnt really put much thought into it. also now the game tells you how long the song lasts for, so it took them 4 years and 7 games later to think of that.

How do you plug in 4 guitars or 4 drumsets if you only have 2 usb slots and 2 controller inputs *on Ps2 there are only 2 usbs for drums and mic and only 2 controller slots for guitars*.

if you look on the new guitars usb connector it has 2 usb slots on the end to that leaves room to plug in 2 more things into that one slot si in essence you could have all the instruments connected through each other into one slot and still have a slot free on your ps2

From what I've heard this is going to be a combonation of Easy and Hard.

There'll be songs for new players and songs for experience players.

I guess the game will have a good progression, so it starts easy and ends hard.

Man, I couldn't care less about this "party play" stuff. It's not a good improvement. What the game really needs is an improvement on the career mode, so the player doesn't have to stick to the same instrument from the beginning the the end. And the characters could look better. In other words, the game could be more like Rock Band.

The World Tour drums are only realistic from a cosmetic appearence. It's when you start playing them that they lose their realism. Good examples would be songs like Everlong, Enter Sandman, or future Iron Maiden songs.

RB drums may look like a pair of DK Bongos, but they arn't limited to two cymbals and toms. And when the pace picks up for the hi-hat, you would, in reality, be hitting that snare to your right rather than your left.

i play drums, have for about 10 yeas, the only thing its realy missing is cymbal realism an extra crash a double kick a HH pedal and to be more spacious (but thats not possible.

Well then, how do you expect to do a decent drumroll with a snare and just two toms, Red-Blue-Blue-Green or Red-Blue-Green-Green? And when they ask you to hit the hi-hit at a rapid pace, don't you think you'd be hitting the snare on the right side (unless you're a lefty)? Not even retards put their hi-hat above the snare drum.

The RB drum sets it up by taking acount which hand you'd be hitting a certain cymbal. But if you want realism so badly, get Rock Revolution drums.

I doubt the spinoff titles will be able to go to GH5. I even doubt that the Rock Band spinoff titles would transfer to RB3 (we all know it's coming). There's a VERY small chance the World Tour setlist will move on, either, applying the facts that Activision definately wouldn't want us to not buy World Tour anymore and that there's already word that even some DLC won't make it to GH5.

Guitar Hero is very desperate to beat RB, however, the fact is rock band has over 1000 songs to download.

There's actually more than that being taken. Notice during the vocals that you can only get SP during certain phrases, and on top of that, there's a meter to show how you're doing during a phrase. Also, band members can fail out individually, but be saved. Sound familiar?

Actually RockBand Has a little over 500 for download, 64 or something like that from RB1, RB2 85, and the AC/DC add on of 23 I believe does not add up to 1000, let's include the World tour setlist to this, hopefully Metallica's and Smash Hits' as well as Van Halen DJ hero,and Band Hero, they're getting really close really fast. Of course WT is the only confirmed one. still in theory..
