how much is left now? like 297???!!! after that one guy in that one movie called redline crashed ones cause he had no experience whats so ever with driving super cars!
how deos this happen?!!!! and only with supercars!!!! i tried to fry my gayass dodge but never burns!!!! you expect that a super car is handled with EXTREME care, and i guess results are worse than a peice of shit car!!
@satanreborn666 I know, they do have a problem with fires, ford escort is a cracking car and lot of things you can do with it,I had an old mini (not a cooper though) but would love one and so does my wee boy, used to have an origional 1968 one with outer door hinges and single skin doors and rope cords;-) would love a cooper too,I have currently got a ferrari dino (hence why I know a lot about the fuel lines) a pain
LMAO....... well... idiot or not.... that guy just lost 1.3mil.... feel sorry for him thou.... but oh well... he could afford another one perhaps a MC12 this time around? LOL
@koukiR32 pushing a Enzo that hard to make er burst in flames...I bet the owner is on his way to buy another one...rich basterds ;p geez i could use $1000 to reinstate my insurance :(
@Smokie181 it has nothing to do with pushing it hard, its caused by a ruptured fuel line which can happen to any car really, just ferrari cars have more lines and more chance of it happening, not driver error,I also see that you are jealous with the way you choose your words so go and work hard and save your pennies if you want one,im sure the owner did just that
Oh man.... so 349 built.... now minus 1.... oh wait... some rich dude hit a phone poll in LA a couple years ago wrecked another one.... then as I am sure at least 5 or 6 of these Enzo were totaled... no wonder their value gone up since 03.....
Oh by the way...nice parking job by the guy who's car was set on fire...it's like he was expecting it would happen and picked a spot...tell me it ain't so. Yeah right...
Just think about it...these cars when bought a year ago cost around a million...slightly less...you can now get one for a quarter of the original price...but the insurance still pays out what they valued it originally...how do you like that?
insurance doesnt just go up because of these people, it goes up because of the private insurance companies themselves. think about it, when you give 1000 bucks a year to your insurance company how much do you think comes back to the customer? maybe 40 bucks? 50? 2?
Yeah but it's all relative. Insurance companies want to make a certain amount of profit yet stay competitive...so the pricing reflects this. If more claims are made, it's obvious they'll put prices up across the board. It's a bit like shop-lifting...it may not seem a big deal if someone steals a a bag of onions but if 1 person does it in each of the companies stores say 10,000 stores) everyday: 10,000 X 365. You do the math.
true but all unsurance companies are controlled by an umbrella company, so really there are not different kinds of insurance companies, just different masks for the same devil.
search allstate insurance, and there will be a news blurb on it. its very interesting how the gov't ignores this and dousnt decide to just make it a socialist process controlled by gov't like it should be
Yeah but saying all insurance companies are controlled by an umbrella company (which I already knew) is just proving my point. There is no getting away from high premiums because of idiots who set fire to their million dollar machines. Because competition usually drives the market, in this case it doesn't and the prices will go up across the board because of idiots who set fire to their million dollar cars. Insurances look at how much profit they want to make...then set premiums accordingly.
Just to give you an example...if no one had an accident for the whole of 2010 (unrealistic example..but anyway)...then for 2011 insurance premiums would have to drop dramatically...otherwise there'd be outrage at the trillion dollars of profits they would make. IN the end every company has to JUSTIFY the service they provide...they can;t scam people. But if people have more accidents in 2010, premiums will go up and they justify it because otherwise their profits will suffer.
Well anyway...I'm more pissed off cos these cunts are giving Ferrari and Lambo a bad name...so what are we really saying here? That we believe that Ferrari and Lambo can't make a fucking fuel-hose or something? Cos the fuel filler is near the front on these cars...so presumably if it WAS a real engine fire, it would be a fuel leak? Bullshit...more like dishonest fly-by night millionaires who have hit hard times.
What these fuckers do is put some fuel in a container in the engine bay, drive out, when the engine gets hot it evaporates the fuel, it eventually catches...they jump out and they claim on the insurance...better still because it's in a public place and the fire engine does a report..insurance has to pay.
These fly-by night "millionaire" fuckers bought the cars before recession and realise car is hard to sell/worth less now that they need money desperately...fucking cunts.
geez, thats close to home. i didn't even know there was an Enzo in the area, let alone a burning one. Those firefighters got to go home and tell their families that they just put out a 2 million dollar car lol
The Story: "Jodie stopped and asked a man walking along the road if he knew what happened. He said, "Yeah a guy was driving his Enzo Ferrari; it caught on fire and he jumped out." Jodie said "We saw that Ferrari drive by us in OK Falls, is the guy OK?" He said "Yeah, I'm the guy!" Then Jodie was struck speechless and said "I'm sorry."
next time, it would be easier to take $1.5million in cash, throw it in a rubbish bin, and light it on fire :( At least they print more cash... only made a handfull of Enzos :(
@CreativeInsanity LOL assuming you live in the states.. 'at least they print more cash' well this is why your gdp is equivalent to your debt . People in the states better leave the beautiful dream they call capitalism before it's too late.
