Just think about it...these cars when bought a year ago cost around a million...slightly less...you can now get one for a quarter of the original price...but the insurance still pays out what they valued it originally...how do you like that?

insurance doesnt just go up because of these people, it goes up because of the private insurance companies themselves. think about it, when you give 1000 bucks a year to your insurance company how much do you think comes back to the customer? maybe 40 bucks? 50? 2?

Yeah but it's all relative. Insurance companies want to make a certain amount of profit yet stay competitive...so the pricing reflects this. If more claims are made, it's obvious they'll put prices up across the board. It's a bit like shop-lifting...it may not seem a big deal if someone steals a a bag of onions but if 1 person does it in each of the companies stores say 10,000 stores) everyday: 10,000 X 365. You do the math.

search allstate insurance, and there will be a news blurb on it. its very interesting how the gov't ignores this and dousnt decide to just make it a socialist process controlled by gov't like it should be

Insurances look at how much profit they want to make...then set premiums accordingly.

Just to give you an example...if no one had an accident for the whole of 2010 (unrealistic example..but anyway)...then for 2011 insurance premiums would have to drop dramatically...otherwise there'd be outrage at the trillion dollars of profits they would make. IN the end every company has to JUSTIFY the service they provide...they can;t scam people. But if people have more accidents in 2010, premiums will go up and they justify it because otherwise their profits will suffer.

What these fuckers do is put some fuel in a container in the engine bay, drive out, when the engine gets hot it evaporates the fuel, it eventually catches...they jump out and they claim on the insurance...better still because it's in a public place and the fire engine does a report..insurance has to pay.

These fly-by night "millionaire" fuckers bought the cars before recession and realise car is hard to sell/worth less now that they need money desperately...fucking cunts.
