I have a question (or a problem).

Whenever I start up my laptop, I get a distortion sound at the starting windows sound. In addition, when I play music on my laptop, I often get the distortion sound and I have notice that that happens everytime the cpu light comes out.

May I have any suggestions of what it may be causing the problem?

For anyone confused, just look up the download Trend Micro HijackThis, open it, select" None of the above just start the program", once it has listed a bunch of stuff, select " analyze", and your set to go.

@kx85rider79 If you have another pc you should download an antivirus program and put it on a cd. Put it in the infected pc, install and scan.

yeah man cool beans.

just backup ur documents and files u dont wana lose eg. music school work other personal stuff.. but any other window stuff will be on the recovery CD if u screw it up

I must say, your excelent. I wish I had this when I had malware. I mean, Norton Internet Security 2008 wasn't bad, along with Spybot S&D, but your way would have been alot faster.

By the way, how do you back up critical documents? Do you mean things like System Processes or what ever? I would like to see a video of that.

And a video of how to use HiJack This properly, without deleting all the Boot Processes. I wouldn't dare use that yet.
