people dont take those sirens serious.they think they sound off for nothing..if there was a real tornado on the ground you would not hear the sirens..
This was the storm that rolled through in the evening on the 11th. It's probably the one you're thinking of since it was the most severe storm recently. I live in Madeira by the way.

I don't believe they did with this storm as there wasn't a tornado watch accompanying the severe thunderstorm warning.
