I've actually got the spectrasonics virtual synth that has this sound patch. The main noise is called 'Armenian Sun'. Towards the end, it mixes with another patch to create that creaking noise as the logo passes. I believe the second patch is called 'The Mirror Room'.

Still... a very well made TV theme\intro, as minimal as it is.
