you can play DIRT2 at about 30-40fps at medium.

And assasin creed too! My friend have PC like you, and he run assasin creed very fine! of course at medium setting!

Good news! Don't forget to update lastest driver for your VGA card! You can download them very easily at ATI or Nvidia website! And 1GB RAM is a little bit weak, you should update more ram (2GB is recomemd), RAM is very cheap now! Tell me how much fps that you have when you play these games! See you later! Good luck!!!

Yes, you can play it, of course not on max setting, i think you can play it on medium setting at Res 1024x768!
