  • The pure love and the intent focus and admiration of each singer for Eric Whitacre and the pure vowels and lush wall of sound is overwhelming, I thoroughly enjoyed your performance. The Incredible sound produced during the Eh vowel at 2:27 is other worldly and irresistable and perfect! I am so envious.

  • i loved that he put the i thank you God ending in. that was beautiful.

  • Eric Whitacre = music genius. I would literally die if I ever had the chance to work with him.

Ps. He also looks like my bio teacher :)

  • @Smurfy1211 That's one handsome bio teacher you must have ;)

  • Eric Whitacre is so brilliant of a composer, he can use the ending of another popular piece he wrote and still make the new piece as brilliant as the first. Congrats on the appointment Maestro!

  • Amazing...as always :) i know ive heard those chord structures before but the combination of them is still aw insppiring and that soprano...... enough said

  • Omg. I HAVE to sing this. I HAVE to.

  • Painfully beautiful. Like the chill that sometimes comes when the sun shines on the rain.

  • No wonder Eric's been appointed to a five year term as Composer in Residence at Sidney Sussex College. Absolutely gorgeous :) ... And the cheat at the end doesn't even feel forced :-P

  • you guys are all so lucky

  • A big chunk of loveliness from i thank You God. Absolutely gorgeous.

  • Thank you Eric. Beautiful. I can't wait to sing this at St.Bart's in Atlanta. It's on our radar! Life is good and it's good to be a choral singer when there is really good new stuff coming.
