  • 総て懸けて抱きしめてみせるよ かっこよすぎて悶絶しちゃいます。

  • I already watched this part dozens of times. But every time, I hold out at the end, somehow expecting a different ending.

  • My mom listens to this song all the time in the car. I was singing it when I first watched the movie. then I was like... "Oh wait... I know that song!"

  • I don't know person who didn't cry when watched this movie. The most beautifull anime about lost love. Best sad story ever. This song is surely talk about a love story, a couple that seperated of fate, but how much they try to meet again, they can't. However, they still keep hoping meeting each other, in a sudden, in dreams, in their hearts.. they strongly feel that they'd meet again one day. Akira no longer knows who she is anymore. He is lost and emotionally defeated.

  • Nothing makes me as sad as this movie does. The first time I saw it the ending tore my heart out.

  • Hey guys.. Stop spoiling it for people D<

  • @sunglassbwoi If he get Akari, the Anime can't be that good~

  • How did you get this in such great quality? o:

All of the HD versions of the movie I can find have ugly subtitles. I specifically want these. :(

  • opportunity only knocks once...

sadly he doesnt get akari :(

  • Every time i watch this scene I wish the girl would be standing there after the train passes :( Unfortunately it never comes true Dx

  • Yesterday I watched this movie at the anime expo 2011 Los Angeles, and I fell in love with this song. I do not get tired of watching it. Thank you for putting this video!

  • Im not usually a fan of romantic/drama anime, but this one was truly amazing, from the art to the music.

  • Nice.

  • my creysssssss

  • This movie was so life changing.

The words used to express the feelings of the characters were so beautiful... And sadly, I can relate so much :(

I hated how they weren't able to meet each other at the end and live a forever together :(

But I guess that's life for you (T___T)

Anyways, thanks for posting the video :) Great quality, with subtitles :D

    Thank you very much (^__^)

  • i think i've watched this, but i can't remember *_*

  • T-T

  • It sounds depressing, what's this? a movie? an anime? and what is it, about?

  • @bulmak its an animated movie "5 centimeters per second" by Makoto Shinkai. The movie is slice-of-life genre and somewhat depressing but I really recommend it :)

  • @bulmak Its a story focused on two young loving friends who grow older and further apart. One puts that part of their life behind them and moves on. The other slowly realises that they can't, but by that time the life they still want to be living is gone forever. I would really recommend it for anybody about the age of 16/17, I think its important for somebody to have an idea of that feeling of losing a loving relationship before seeing the film, to get the full impact.

    Would highly recommend.

  • Thanks to this movie, I appreciate the beauty of our world every day. I'm always awestruck when I go outside now.

I also learned to play this song lol.

  • thats the end...! shit.... no alternative ending.. sucks!

  • After 3 months I watched it again and something snapped, I loved it. So depressing ending yet so beautiful.

  • The anime was average, but this song is awesome though.

  • @RfomFan your entitled to ur own opinion.

but this anime was FRICKEN AWESOME

  • @Tcho713 I still refuse to accept the ending of not meeting each other after that long time! It's to sad x(

  • @RfomFan lol thats true T.T

  • @RfomFan

I like how at the end he has a smile on his face. I interpreted it as him getting over it and moving on with his life. In that sense both of them have happy endings as Akari seems to be happy with her husband too.

  • @foroughshafiee Yes, very true. As the train passes and he looks at the past with a sad face for the last time. And it is as you said; Akari does seem to be happy. It's a realistic and mature ending. (but it's still sad damn it!)

  • @RfomFan

If you look closely he actually smiled after he turned his face away from the train and walked away

it probably meant that he was finally able to let her go...

  • This anime is awesome! As all of Shinkai's works!

Thanks for the hd video ^^

  • I love this!
