If I acted Crazy..I'm Not too Proud..I'm JEALOUS ..JEALOUS AGAIN! >GREAT KICKASS TRACK from the '90's! I have their Cd's! I love watching the way CHRIS Moves on Stage! What Moves! Awesome clothes! He has his own look! The band was/ is Outsatanding! @Eclectic1970 Thanks a Million! PEACE! HappyHOLIDAYS:D
You can tell the energy level of the band in the early days. They still sound fine, but that youthful desire to really perform is gone in the recent vids. They wanted it back then, now it is just going through the motions.
@YouRockRadio They were energetic like this once since the southern harmony tour, and that was the by your side tour. They were rocking the place then.
I saw them on amorica tour, and they were so slow paced it took them almost 10 minutes to play hard to handle, with NO jamming either, just the straight song.
Then saw them on by your side, expecting a chilled out slow show, they were jumping big time. So I bought tickets for the next show and saw them again and they were even livelier.
Chris was sooo cute and sexy back then! In some ways I wish he still looked like this but it's been amazing to see his transformation thru the years, from hip-swiveling punk to bearded sage. He'll always be beautiful to me cause he has one of rock's most beautiful souls.
This is why I wanted to be a rock star. There guys were way cool, not like the current geek squad bands that are out there now. You can just hear the metal shredding off of the pickups. Awesome!
marc? as in marc ford? hes not in hte band in this; he joined about a year later 4 the southern harmony album. the guitarist here is jeff cease. i remember him well cos i met him when they played donnington monsters of rock, backstage. then they fired him about 3 months later and i was really pissed. altho marc ford was better, i was annoyed at meeting this guy then him being fired, til i met them, with marc ford, on the southern harmony tour. also, johnny colt is on bass here, hes also gone now
@w0bbl3r I read a Rich Robinson interview saying Jeff didn't want to improve as a guitarist and Rich said he wasn't going to write Jeff's parts for Southern Harmony. In a interview w/ Chris where he was asked about Jeff Cease being fired he said "No love lost there". But that's Rich and Chris's side to the story. I love Marc Ford but it would have been nice to see a couple more albums w/ Jeff Cease. Jeff is Bucky Covington's touring guitarist now.

"Shake Your Money Maker" IS the best Stones album of the late 80's early 90's.

I was going to say it was the best FACES album of that era - but, similar sentiment!

it's not about being cool man.. it's about doing what you really like and not just because of money..
the reason why lots of today's band are posers.. they're there bec. of money and not for the love of music..

This song is taken right out of the Stones playbook right off Exile on Main Street. Must be why it's so good.

@LLscissorhands yes, it is!!!!!!!!!!!
In the early 90's the GnR smoked them.
But I agree with you they were great in the beginning (for very short time).
Then they got smoked (if you get what I am talking about).
occhioallallocco 6 months ago
@occhioallallocco GNR Got Pretty Smoked too.
The Black Crowes are still amazing I saw them last year phenomenal!
