  • are you canadian???? you just seem canadian

  • GREAT VIDEO MAN !..by the way what is a semitone??

  • It's always whack when you give away someone's samples. That's a pretty lame thing to do and shows that you have no creativity of your own when you have to exploit someone else's work and dissect it. You probably don't get out much.

  • okay so , Interglactik disco /watch?v=HKnKWbj_XxA&feature=player_embedded & /watch?v=NS0Y0HsGy6E&feature=player_embedded

  • Well at least on the Daft Punk tune they wouldn't have had to ask if it was ok to sample as half of this act is also one half of Daft Punk!

  • the sample for cherie damoure : /watch?v=MCde0CinHdE

  • is the semitone is the same as "key change"?

    sorry for my bad english

  • I LOVE YOU!

  • Sampling is brilliant, easy and sounds great. I love it and it also introduces me into different types of music! But do they pay royalties???

  • Thanks for the Vid, Appreciation :)

  • Who's better? The samplers, or the poster for finding all these and making a decent video out of it!!!

  • People moan about samples, and always will, but there's only so many chords melodies that will benfit the human ear.

1:20 to 1:30 Who can say that they aren't talented!

  • I love sampling, it makes stuff awesome! :D Thanks for the great vid :D

  • Damn. That Quincy Jones sample is f'ing ace! Great vid!

  • 0:15 - . - that is why Guy-Maaanuel works to both groups and he made the same sounds to both songs

  • The Cerrone track is sampled in "Intergalactik Disko"...just skip to 3:27 in this vid:

    watch?v=NS0Y0HsGy6E

  • @hitmusicsingles The sample is taken from "Give Me Love", not "Look for Love"

  • Good video ;)...I give you a challenge, Listen to my track called ''French Touch'' and try to guess the sample I used.

    Molotov Beatz

  • Great video! 5 stars!

  • What is the sample too Cherie D'Amoure? The video has been taken down! :(

  • @BalooRJ yeah, can everyone looking for the Cherie D'Amoure sample upvote this? the sample video has been taken down and the annotation doesn't give the name

  • Glad to know that 'Gator' sampled from Earth, Wind, and Fire. I love the song.

  • THIS IS BADD!!ASS!!

  • Thanks Bro!!!!

  • Five stars . I dont like to admit this but : Thankyou : You made me discover big essentials of the 90"s '"""' I wouldn't have found it by my own -- was too young in the 90's

  • does guy manuel do made this songs?

  • Inner life - moment of my life <- that song makes me crazy. it's so freaking good. I loved tropicall, now I love both!!

  • very good work.congratulations!!!

  • Hey I think I found the Intergalacktic disco sample! It is indeed in a song of cerrone:

'Give me Love'. When you listen to the 7:42 (minutes:seconds) version. You hear one of the sounds at exactly 5:40.

    Check it out!

And keep it up with the wonderful tracks! :D

  • they sampled "Rec Room" for Around The World...

  • High Life sample is;

'Tavares' with 'Break down for love'

  • Hey! This was the way how this music worked!

Big fun by the time! And good groove!

  • The Sister Sledge sample blows my mind. It's so simple, yet genius. Favorite LKC tune.

  • this is such an awesome video, i've always wondered they've sampled thanks man

  • what software do you use

  • i think ableton live, has a good sampler.

  • @DavidFrenchmusic

they used actual samplers no software man maybe pro tools they use ableton now but they is pure chopping and filtering

  • soul bells is my favourite.

  • win

  • Nice !!!

    Great job !

  • i understand, but i think you may be missing the whole concept of this kind of house.

They know they are sampling.Once you aware of it,

  • I know Daniel Bangalter is a music producer, but can you please show me the proof that he produced the Eddie John song they sampled ?

  • cool

  • I'm hoping someone can answer this. Does Le knight club get sample clearance? Or do they "one more time" it ?

  • DO NOT SPEAK THAT WAY.

  • what? I'm not condemning or shunning them for it, I was just curious. I love DP and Le Knight Club. I'm all for sampling <3

  • BOOGIE SHELL!!!!

  • Cheers for putting this up mate! Its a really great video.. i thought i had all Le Knight Club e.p's til i heard that last one -"Tropical". It reminded me of Another track off :Ian Pooley's "Higgledy Piggledy" E.P, i liked that 'cos of the "moment of my life" sample! ( took me years to get - Wanted it ever since i heard Carl Cox play it on uk radio 1 around 96/97) The tracks called "All Nite" and its on Force inc records(US)#20. See if you can find it online (the whole e.p. is good)

  • Long Live Le Knight Club!

  • this is amazing. must've taken you a while. thanks.

  • Awesome video man. Thanks a lot! I just actually found all his eps recently, so this came just in time for me. :D

  • really great video.great work!

  • Gator

    Le Knight Club

  • I watched this 100 times i think lol

    Fucking great video man ;)

  • I'm sure Guy-Man likes Sister Sledge.

As first he sampled "You Fooled Around" for "Boogie Shell" And then he sampled "Il macquillage lady" For "Aerodynamic"

    o.O

  • @9MinamiKe6 I'm sure you're a gay-man as well since writing here (lol). No, just fooling around, bruce willis is died!? Awesome video by the way, 5 stars, but then again, this is french house... Not the most thoughtful house nor made with heart... Sounds like gay disco house, now leave, it's cheap, but still good. Live long! :)

  • "Not the most thoughtful house nor made with heart..." I think pretty much everyone who watches my videos will disagree with you there, pal. ;D

  • @Tarikatlar I think you've never paid attention to House than. Go back to your dubshit, and get on our level.

  • Though Santa Clause is said to have no samples in it. I've speculated for years that the bass line is a midi file for Bob Marley's I Shot The Sheriff. If not it was definitely an inspiration! Very similar, listen for yourselves. Great video,THANKS!

  • really great video!! five stars 5/5

  • Thanks!

  • actually there IS sample in Look For Love , that second like horn sound . I have no idea how to get that , but Ive managed to find it , I mean rhythm was the same , but it needs serious filtering.

  • definatly ! but i heard the sample in look for love straight away , ijustgot good hearing lol

  • fucking awesome, this is soooo good, very good work indeed on this vid. clap him in!!!

  • wow... that HQ button makes a HUGE difference! anyway, this is a COOL video!! I really loved it!

  • soul bells sampled :

    "Streetwave"

    by "brothers johnson"

i bought by accident at the dodgy record shop beside the train station in Bray!

    love it!!

  • Gros boulot je suis impressionné merci.

  • Interesting :)

  • Is it possible they added echo to soul bells and its not the filter that did that?

  • i found the tiny little sample for intergalaktic disco but you can barely hear it lol

  • i believe the pitch and tone have to be altered

  • it seems so

  • Absolutely great video!

  • The sample comes right before cerrone says "But sometimes"

they added a squishy filter :)

  • Guy Manuel = Music genius

  • the samples just seem so "flat" to me, how are they making them so lifelike?? is it increased bass or is it just the thunderous drums?

  • Both probably.

  • how do i enhance the bass? :)

  • Bitcrushers, bro. ;D

Gives them a much grainier distorted edge to them that ulitimately makes it more danceable. Most easily heard in Streetwave vs. Soul Bells.

  • ah, i was wondering how they made it so....ringy sounding. :)

  • How do i get bitcrushers in FL?

  • im wondering the same thing

  • The "Fruity Waveshaper" in the effects mixer works as a Bitcrusher. Don't over do it though! It can kill a sample.

  • thx :)

  • @DJevilstereo thats called "saturation" you can go to kvr and get free bitcrusher vsts

  • @troysson81 google it.

  • They bitcrushed the hell out of Streetwave. Is it strange that I hear a vocal sound out of the horns?

  • I know, the original sounds nothing like Soul Bells. Very flat. Quality sample management.

No it is not, I hear vocals too. "Girls are coming", "Banana Pudding"... all sorts of stuff. :P!

  • its the crusher doing that, somehow combining pitch and bitcrushers makes the trumpet a high pitch voice :)

  • Mdr !! ca va tu leur casse pas la baraque ! bien joué ;)

  • how can i get the sounds of my lp's or singles on my computer?

    what do i need?

    which turntables or which programms??

    please help me:)

  • Watching this video makes me realise how much I love LKC <3

  • this video makes me happy

  • great job!

  • Dario Argento pleez use Gator!

  • BlizzardOfTheCoast HAS FOUND THE SAMPLE FOR NYMPHAE SONG! I REPEAT, SHE HAS FOUND THE SAMPLE FOR NYMPHAE SONG!!!

  • does ANYONE know where i can find a version of intergalactik disko thats NOT mixed by dj sneak?

  • If you listen to 'Dancing Dominoes', it paraphrases 'Around The World' by Daft Punk of course!

  • You're right, It's 'Get Closer'. I mixed up those two titles by Valerie Dore. But both were club hits.

'The Night' was the song that was sampled by Scooter and later covered by DJ Tonka (on the album '84').

  • Crydamoure rules!!! Le Knight Club rules!!! House rules!!!

DAFT PUNK RULES THE NATION!!! :)

  • Also yadda yadda yadda all three of Deelat's samples are known, along with two of Archigram's, two of Raw Man's and one of Paul Johnson's for the eventual Crydamoure sampling videos, if and when it is made.

The one I'm really wondering about is Crydajam. Playground definitely has at least one sample, probably IYGMTLIW as well. Loaded I think is completely synthetic.

    Just my two cents.

  • My favorite is 'Spaced Out', by Play Paul with samples of 'The Night' by Valerie Dore.

If I clearly remember, the samples for 'Turkish Avenger' by Sedat were uncredited and I never knew where they where from.

Most of the samples were cleared legally and credited which I thought was an honest thing to do.

Another thing I liked from them was the stylistic way they made their sleeves.

  • Oh wow, I never knew Spaced Out's sample. Thanks!

Yeah I agree, clearing the samples if you can is the way to go, and I'm happy they did that. The sleeves are awesome, too. ;D

It seems like I heard the samples for The Turkish Avenger somewhere once, and Nymphae Song, but I can't remember either sample. Maybe I just imagined that.

  • As for Sedat's sampling, the vocals from Take Me (Ce Soir) are from Michael Zager Band - Life's A Party. Feel Inside comes from some other disco track, D Train's "Something's On Your Mind" (thanks to Blizzard for both of those). I don't know about Da Red Knight but whatever sample is may have has hella filters and stuff on it. Take Me (Ce Soir) and Da Red Knight technically aren't Crydamoure tracks but they're awesome in their own respects anyway.

  • The sample in "Intergalactic Disco" is in "Give me Love"... At Discogs is maybe a typing mistake?

  • The song by Valerie Dore is not "The Night" but "Get Closer".

  • I love the Crydamoure label. :)

  • really gd vid :P nw i also know what new le knight club songs to find

  • Wow. Love it. :)

  • Ah thanks. ;D Inspired by your vids, man. I plan on doing more, maybe with more obscure songs/samples.

  • try the sample that fat boy lim use for in his song right here right now .. i could sit here all night and not know what that sample was from :L awesome vid btw :P i love crymadoure

  • Let me ruin your life then.

The James Gang - The Ashes The Rain And I

  • The original sample for the DJ Sneak "Galactik Disco" istaken from "Give me love" from Cerrone, at the end of the track... :-)

  • I didn't hear IGD, but I did hear Rollercoaster by Modjo. o_O
