  • ok thanks for ding this show justice unlike evans hihg school my only thing was you took the low brass out of the second movement

but i like the timphani in the third and the last dynamic part

and nice speedo n the fourth but again no low brass why destroy the tubas biggest part :(

  • @tempurebot i was a senior tuba player this year and was bummed.

  • *guys at nationals!

  • this is sooo amazing!! yall did so good!! cant wait to see you guy sat nations this year!!! 09:)

  • who is the composer? my band is playing a piece with the same title by john harbison is this just movments i havent heared?

  • this piece is by frank sullivan. it was originally called "rhythyms of a city," but we changed the name for our show... i don't know why though.

  • ok my band played three city blocks by john harbison

  • I'm from Jackson too and i love this show the best there.

  • thanks dude :)

  • i am in the jackson memorial high school marching band, and we watched you guys from the stands. let me tell you, i think it was the best show of the night. you guys were so full of energy and it looked like you were having a blast. loved the show : )

  • Hey Roxbury, awesome music!! I loved those major "impact" points you had in there. Great season and good luck next year. I'm graduating so I won't see you guys again, but definitely keep up the good work!

  • The scores were close but yet so far away, 97.475 to 97.00! To be honest, I was worried if Immaculata was going to beat SBHS, not Roxbury lol. It's just those little minor mistakes that make us lose a tenth of a point. Overall, awesome show!

  • Awesome!

  • Congratulations on Second Place - from California!

  • I LOVE YOU GUYSSSSSS!

  • Another amazing year guys! Sure do miss it

  • SO id say 2nd place is still awesome and South Brunswick was Amazing and they've always worked hard to get to the point where they are now now so mad Props to them!

  • We went to South Brunswick instead of Yamaha at giant stadium. Sb was amazing all year so mad props to them :)

  • just wanted to point out how, as i predicted, the tables turned. roxbury once again dominated. i heard sb was amazing, so i'm glad we were 2nd place.

  • I can't believe I missed this, allentown's only 25 min from my school! And, who got first place, whoever they were they had to be amazing. Roxbury's Marching has improved so much, and I would even say the quality of the music has too, even though it's been pretty good for quite some time. Ah, I can believe you got 2nd place!...No giant stadium competition?

  • great job roxbury!

  • Wow!!!!!! Congrats on second place, keep up the good work in future seasons

  • omg you can hear mr nichols yell "YEAHH!!" after everything =)

i love the roxbury high school marching gaels.

  • Congrats Roxbury - on a super year!!!

  • What a come back!

    AMAZING.

  • Awesome job, guys! Now I'm even more disappointed that I couldn't make it out to Allentown tonight. And I don't know how the judges could watch that and NOT think "1st Place".

  • FREAKING AMAZING! GO MELLOS!

  • What an awesome season! Such a great show and so many good times :)!
