Why couldn't he have just taken his own life??? His wife and kids had nothing to do with what happened. They absolutely should not have died!!! Poor people. Asshole dad. what a shitty dad you are for doing this!!!
@debbie2kids wow. hes not an asshole. he killed his family because the mom was threatening to hurt the kids, there was depression rising in the family, and the parents were about to get a divorce,, so Mr. Finnerty(the dad) tried just killing himself, but he couldnt put out all of the flames. i would know, cause i was in 5th grade when it happened(i live in arlington heights) i actually knew garrett and price finnerty.
It was the dad who killed the family. He left a note in the garage. Why did he have to kill his wife and kid just cuz things weren't going well with his career. And god exists, see. He was supposed to live for an hour the most when the firmen pulled him out. He survived for a day. God left him on this world to suffer from his injuries. Sad :( R.I.P Finnerty family (except Husband and Father. Rot in hell)
