  • Could you please tell me where did you find a Beachtek DXA-5D with the phantom power and VU meter for the gain control! Cause if I'm looking on the Beachtek website, you got the DXA-5D without phantom power OR the DXA-SLR without VU meter?

  • I saw that the switch was on stereo and from other reviews trhey stated that stereo is only used when 2 mics are attached in lieu of 1. Were you using a quality microphone when you were using this? All that data should be displayed in the text field.

  • Hello my name is John Angelo and I live in Brazil and I'm having a doubt about

Audio recording with canon 5d mark 2.

XLR audio adapter that lets you record audio sincere when in 24p too?

    Thank you John Angeli (Brazil)

  • H4N FTW!!!

  • sounds bad.. very tinny

  • not only does it sound very rough and noisy, but you should not need to shout down the mic to get a reasonable level. but thank you for demonstrating this product, ill stay with the home made and modified kit i have all be it a tad more bulky and about 10 years old now.

  • there's nothing in the second channel becuse the sount in 5dmarkii in MONO

  • I'm not sure what the person who says that the audio is fine is listening to ,because it's not fine, it is terrible sounds like they spent all of there budget on the mixer and had none left for the mic.

  • The reason why it went to the other channell when you talked loud is becasue you have on mic thats plugged in, but you have the setting on stereo, i think thats what i saw in the video, i might be wrong thogh, so you wouldn't recommend this product??

  • @peacefulwarrior Would not recommend. I wish I wouldn't have bought it.

MANY MANY THINGS WRONG with this mixer.

  • @WonderHowtodotcom SO you would go with an H4n over this one?

  • thanks for your post, now i know i wont get it ....too much noise anyway

  • If you'd like to get better sound, lower the levels to about 7 since you're using a lavalier system. Another is clearly the fact that he mentioned talking directly INTO the lavalier microphone. Hence the POPS that you hear from time to time, he's probably holding it directly in from of his mouth or just beside it. The lavalier will always be used approx. 8-12 inches from your face, under normal use so it'll sound better as you find your main uses.

  • Which mic did you use for this test?

  • This does sound terrible. I have changed my mind about this unit now and going with the JuicedLink unit. No hiss in the audio like this one does.

  • It's rather ironic that the audio for this video is terrible.

  • I agree

  • @studiojohnny youre gay. the audio is fine

  • how much does it cost??
