very true from an outsider it is quite easy to see that mainstream/organised religions do quiet effectively controle there followers who have been been conditioned into that way of thought and who are petrifiedat the prospect of a godless universe THERE IS NO GOD (unless someone can prove to me otherwise with solid repeatable tests and facts which they cant becuase god is a magical mysterius invisible sky ghost)

This video is chock full of crapola. There is a rule about quoting a single verse from the bible called the 20/20 rule. Because the bible wasn't written in verses you need to read at least 20 verses before and after the verse at hand to help put it in proper perspective. The point of the Deuteronomy passage quoted at the beginning of this video was for people to NOT worship the sun, moon, etc. It was a warning against Idolatry. You lose credibility quoting out of context so flagrantly.

Also, "love is the only truth" isn't even a logical statement. Are you kidding?? This video belies the fact that people are not by nature lovie-dovie peacemakers. You don't have to teach a child how to lie or steal, or how to be selfish. No, you have to teach a child to NOT lie, steal, or be selfish. We have love in our nature, but also corruption. So if fear cancels love, then by fear all we have left is corruption? Clearly not. This video creates a bogus connection between fear and love.

I did not see this one before. Most religious scriptures were the source of God but man changed it to his needs. Islam was the message all the Prophets were given, Islam means complete submission to the will of God. 'Allah'. All the prophets were Muslims, meaning one who surrenders and submits to the laws of God 'Allah'. Jesus pbuh is not the Sun God, only what man changed to make the people believe. His return shall answer and prove who he was then and now.

However the antichrist will be the deceiver who will claim to be Jesus pbuh and will swindle the people into believing. This will be the great threat to the people more then the NWO which is the transformation of the world for his arrival. I said, "What if". As in, what if your religion was wrong. I understand the purpose of religion, to guide us in times of need, to lend support when needed. When young, we sometimes need the support of an invisible playmate.
Although, the real problem with religion is that it deals with absolutes vs uncertainties.
Uncertainties are important, we should question whether or not commandments may sometimes need to be broken in order to retain humanistic ethics.

There comes a time when we should outgrow our dependence on absolutes when passing judgment on our future actions. Rituals towards shared community needs are a requirement for society, so is rationalization. Religion, by supporting absolutes, doesn't leave room for the latter.

Dionysus or Baccus and Jesus share very few similarities from what I understand. Baccus didn't even go on an important journey morally, he just went on a journey to produce wine (which was a cultural journey) for the people and people wanted him as a slave.
Where as the point or goal of Jesus was prophesied in the Bible in Genesis to redeem man from Adam's death and betrayal of God (a perfect life for a perfect life) and destroy Satan. All on top of this setting a mental example for mankind.

So you blame human nature ? Fair enough. But humans generally behave a lot worse when they have a religion to support their nasty acts. Furthermore I can't think of a single religion which hasn't trained a military force at some time. Religions are all channeled into the apparatus of state power and used to propagandize killing. They're all guilty, Christianity, Judaism, Islam, Hinduism, Taoism, Confucianism, Shinto, Buddhism, Animism, all militaristic.

Yeah, all religions cause grief when used by scared people, mentally ill people, and violent people. It oppresses minorities in just about every country and sanctions hatred. But it is not all evil. It can also help people get though difficult times, feel fulfilled, and keep them from doing wrong. It's not all bad, in fairness.

Hey wait a minute. You say religion helps people through hard times... but you don't look at the larger question of "why" they do that. Like jackals and vultures, religion goes after people when they are weakened and vulnerable, desperate for answers and willing to accept any old tripe because it's better than nothing. Vulnerable people who would be better served by legal advice, counseling services, and mental health workers than by some cult that demands eternal servitude to lies.

i happen to be a mental health counselor so you don't have to tell me. Perhaps I am confusing religion with a belief in a higher power. Although I am agnostic/atheist, there are times where i have felt connected to a power beyond myself to whom i can turn my problems over to. Whether this is just a psycholical phenomenon or not, there is a benefit in this belief. You seem intelligent but your views against faith are almost as extreme as those on the right. Peace

Well it seems we're in more or less the same profession. The point is, when people do that, don't you think that it is essentially wish fulfillment fantasy and therefore infantile ? Ignoring problems can help by allowing people to relax, but it is only a hiatus before the trouble begins again in earnest. Really it is a form of mental and emotional laziness. Do people do it ? Of course. But that isn't the same as it being a good idea.

Who ever made this video is ignorrant, at 1min in the movie the bible verse Deuteronomy 4:19 appears that verse isnt telling the Israelites 2 worship the moon sun or stars its saying 2 NOT worship those things, read the whole of ch 4 Deut. he then brings in Genesis 1:17 which is when God was creating the earth, hes taking a passage from the Bible(wen man wasnt even created yet)to justify his belief of man worshipping the elements, he totally manipulates the bible 4 his own beliefs.

Not particularly, I believe it based off of what it says, and what people in it have done. One of the few things that present a 'cause-solution' process to the fall of man. The only book that explains this very situation of the NWO.
Obviously school doesn't help everyone, even in school you can be brainwashed. The ONLY person who can control that is yourself. Learn to seek knowledge and truth yourself. I look up to Jesus, not because of just some life promise, but because he stood for truth.

I have seen this video before and it still amazes me that people can not come to a conclusion about the origins of religion. I personally think there is/are a creator(s) and religion is a tool to control people. The truth is, You can believe what you want to believe. Killing, slavery, confusion, lies are all apart of Christianity. Being controled is one thing but having been brainwashed for thousands of years is another. Who is trully the real Satan?
