I'm from Europe and I envy you politician like Ron Paul. I'm somewhat cynical person, but I can tell he is trully briliant, inspirational and sincere. Unfortunatelly most americans and people are too dumb to vote for him..I don't agree with him on everything, especially some of his religious beliefs, but the amazing thing about him, unlike with Bush or other politicans, is that those views don't efect his politics..His wisdom, consistency and integrity are really rare amongst politicians

Ron Paul is a remarkable person. I am a Canadian and have just recently begun following the American campaign. It is just amazing to me how he explains things. All of the other candidates are so fake and phony. They are where they are today because of there pocket books not for what they stand for. Bluerepublican dt org has all the info and links. go there now. So few Republicans go to the caucus or primary, it would take only ten or fifteen extra Ron Paul votes at the voting sites to send Ron Paul delegates to the State Conventions. @tomazje Well in the sense that Ron Paul speaks from refers to the consumer decides. For instance if I sell a product and want to cut quality the consumer will become upset and move to a competitor. Now if we move from a major corporation or the corporation fails from poor decisions, tax payers have to bail them out. The main problem was poor workers rights at the time, the creation of unions and regulations. Regulations are built by the major contenders of the field thus unfair competition.
I love all the support shown here, but for all those who are seeing real RP info for the first time, just Google Ron Paul and see how he has stayed the course for so many years and predicted the catastrophes that are killing our economy way before they happened. He proposes real cuts, not just smaller proposed increases. As for foreign policy, he would quit giving money to our enemies and that would make life easier for our friends without sending money created from air by the Fed.
My favorite thing about Ron Paul is his intellectual honesty. He is able to answer questions presented to him, no matter how difficult, because he answers according to his principles and beliefs rather than what he thinks people want to hear. If Ron Paul becomes president, I think we in the U.S. and people outside the U.S. would be better off for it.

I'm from Europe and I envy you politician like Ron Paul. I'm somewhat cynical person, but I can tell he is trully briliant, inspirational and sincere. Unfortunatelly most americans and people are too dumb to vote for him..I don't agree with him on everything, especially some of his religious beliefs, but the amazing thing about him, unlike with Bush or other politicans, is that those views don't efect his politics..His wisdom, consistency and integrity are really rare amongst politicians

1. Federal SPENDING (Balanced Budget Amendment anyone?)

This is so easy, you wouldn't believe it. Conservatives, Liberals, Libertarians, and independents are going to vote in the primaries and caucuses. You don't even have to be Republican in most States. Bluerepublican dt org has all the info and links. go there now. So few Republicans go to the caucus or primary, it would take only ten or fifteen extra Ron Paul votes at the voting sites to send Ron Paul delegates to the State Conventions. Bluerepublican dt org explains it very well.

@tomazje Well in the sense that Ron Paul speaks from refers to the consumer decides. For instance if I sell a product and want to cut quality the consumer will become upset and move to a competitor. Now if we move from a major corporation or the corporation fails from poor decisions, tax payers have to bail them out. The main problem was poor workers rights at the time, the creation of unions and regulations. Regulations are built by the major contenders of the field thus unfair competition.

I love all the support shown here, but for all those who are seeing real RP info for the first time, just Google Ron Paul and see how he has stayed the course for so many years and predicted the catastrophes that are killing our economy way before they happened. He proposes real cuts, not just smaller proposed increases. My favorite thing about Ron Paul is his intellectual honesty. He is able to answer questions presented to him, no matter how difficult, because he answers according to his principles and beliefs rather than what he thinks people want to hear. The Constitution gives the fed gov no control over moral issues. The Federal government has the job of keeping the individual liberty safe for each of us in this country. Right now we have the Patriot Act which removes our Rights. In watching the debates he seems to be standing alone on this. But he has been keeping his Oath of Office to support and defend the US Constitution for his entire career and there are few in Congress who can make that claim. if ron paul is the small government pro civil liberties freedom fighter libertarian he says he is? why is he supportive of a BIG government that says "if you're gay or lesbian, you aren't GOOD ENOUGH to get married?
am i the only person who sees the hypocrisy? you'd think a small government guy wouldn't want the government intervening in the bedrooms of america, yet he is against marriage equality

Where did you find this quote from? RP doesn't have any issues with gay/lesbian marriage! He wants the fed govt out of it, and even wants to take it a step further by getting the states out of it, and let the churches and families decide what marriage means to them.
When you take your vows, you do so in front of God and family, not the fed govt.

@brysonisSXE Well, i disagree. He may personally not like gays having legal marriage, but he has consistantly said that the definition of marriage should be left to the states. Not agreeing with a certain lifestyle but respecting it because the constitution allows for it is in all practicality the working definition of liberatarian/small gov person.

he actually thinks social security, medicare, medicaid, and nearly anything associated with the government is UNconstitutional, and he wants to replace them with profit driven private enterprises. Don't fall for the one-liners that detractors use to characterize Dr Paul. Look up the 2 half -hour interviews with Chris Wallace of FoxNews (bear in mind Fox is NO FRIEND to Dr Paul) and LISTEN to what he says. If you are a thinking being, there is no way you could come away NOT liking the man.
