I thought it was pretty good...all the haters should learn to play this and sing it at the same time and then comment. This isnt surely perfect but it wasnt bad at all.
Why all of the comments about Two Rock amps???? He sure as hell isn't playing a Two Rock. That amp DOES NOT sound or look like a Two Rock. Also, he is playing a FUCKING Samick knock-off Telecaster. #1 Buy yourself a real guitar, #2 Learn The Fucking Song, #3 Get an amp that actually sounds good, OH YEAH I almost forgot #4 Have Talent!!!!!!!!
love the location!! but too many wrong chords/notes. i suggest learning the chords more accurately and then come up and rerecord this without the singing. this song is way to hard to sing AND play unless your john mayer...
Awesome guitar cover. Your voice is properly cool too but it is a little hard to hear. Well, nevertheless I think it is cool that you manage to pronounce the word while playing that complex song. U rock
I love the fact that you use a two rock amp but the chords at 1:50 just ruin it for me. get your guitar set up correctly or tuned. the intonation is way off and you playing chords at the 12th fret sound way out of tune. adjust the bridge sir. other than that i love the playing.
(assuming you replied to hiscal2020) I think hiscal meant that since the intonation is off (and I think so too) the chords 'emphasize' that, which makes the chord part ruin it for him.
still like hiscal said, nice playing. I also like the setting, like John on the DVD (where the light is).

@h4ckb0x7 you don't read well do you? His amp clearly says Two-Rock. It's not Mayers model or any current model for that matter.
Then again it could be the guts of another amp in a TR. cab.
That said, tone wasn't the issue here

The chords are fine. It's disonance. It's IN the chord, and it's supposed to be. John Mayer is really known for using it.
