The key to the technique is the suddeness. Its all about explosive movement, the shove is sudden, throws your target off and while he's still recovering and computing you're already moving to the spear. He should have no time to counterhit during. The spear slams the opponent into something, delaying them again, and you're already moving to takedown while your foe is still computing. Its all in the explosiveness and stringing the moves.

dont try this you'll get your head busted if the other dude has some weapons on him coz if you spear a person he hits you back with full force plus your head goes down and you cant see who the fuk is hitting you my experience dont do this he caan choke you coz you head goes under his arm pit lol
@123wht123 Well your sorta right but by your method of being safe you shouldnt punch because you also open yourself up at the moment you swing or even kick...I mean in a self-defense situation you gotta do something so this will work just gotta commit and be fast
