Obviously we end up caring about these two people. And we will always want more to give us an insight. This, in my opinion should have been left in. It show vulnerability in Kahlan and a finality to the will they/wont they thread. Bridget Regan is so good at prtraying this side of the Kahlan in the books it almost makes me want shake her and tell her she IS Kahlan. But thats not right of course. Still this scene is overwhelmingly better that the scene we were fed. Its human and nice.

According to Shota, the Seeker would be betrayed by "the one in white". Naturally, Kahlan believes this refers to her (and consequently she has nightmares about killing Richard). She leaves Richard and Zedd to get a replacement Confessor, but this leaves Richard vulnerable to capture by the Mord'Sith Denna.

Everyone who's asking why they would cut it... because each Ep is only :43 min long. They can't keep everything, as much as it would improve the story. The story will always suffer because of TV's time constraints. ... What would be nice is if they put the original directors cut back together for the DVD.

This is so much better version, why edit/cut?! I like her explanation- it shows her doubts and human side, more depth to character. And that's what LOTS need.
