@420League Gummy is good. Sometimes the oil will 'auto-budder' and end up really solid and flakey. But the gummy texture is just fine. As long as everything was properly purged, and the budder tastes good, enjoy and rock on :)

@SectorFour20 Don't grind the bud, but break it up some with your fingers.

For a oz I'd use about a can worth, maybe less, but to each their own. I know people who use almost a full can to blast a Q, which is very much overkill to me. As for yield, you should always be aiming for a a gram a quarter. So if you were blasting 1oz, you should hope to get 4 grams of budder. Obviously this varries depending on the quality of the herb and how man-handled it's been. Stay safe, blast outside :)

Thx for all the info!! One thing I should mention, never place your pyrex directly on cement and extract your goods. The reason being is because I froze my Pyrex to the cement, and I had to thaw it by pouring warm water around the Pyrex. Haha

But in the long run, my Budder came out just fine...

@budnblunt Budder is definitely better but this is not budder. This is faux budder which is just whipped and cooled BHO. Looks similar but the real process of budder involves another chemical wash leaving you with an end result of up to 95% THC. This process (video) is just BHO and the taste an high are exactly the same. From what I saw there's a considerable amount of Butane still in it which helps make it more golden as he whips it. I usually use 4 cases of butane per making so I know...

Nice vid man!i have the honey bee extractor im sure youve heard of it. its made out of atomic plastic instead of glass which kinda sucks cuz its not see through but it works really well....never went the full route of making budder i always stop at the bho level and smoke it that way but after seeing this vid it made me realize you get a much better product with only a little more work. Budder seems way more stable than bho from what i saw in your vid too. very eduacational man! Peace and Pot!!

@SeasonOfVindication Look for some bong stores, and hydroponic stores, go in and tell them what you need. A glass tube for BHO extraction, if they don't know what you mean that is a shock and a half to me. If neither of them carry it, see if they're willing to order you one.

As for how long it will last you, thats down to your tolerance, and whether or not you can keep your hands off of your own creating for more than 10 minutes haha, Budder is legendary for its potency of nearly 100 percent THC (99.7% if done right). @ganjasolly I don't use it, just compost it. Some will save everything and re-run it, you get a very small yield of harsh stuff, but when someone is broke it's handy. Some will still use the cannabis after it's ran in the tube for edibles. They'll dry the cannabis out when it's out of the tube, then extract the remaining oils into cooking butter. To learn how to do that, look up canna-butter recipes.

@zObdayzzz ....kinda..ish.. If you have bho that's still got 'tane in it or it's in a "shatter" bho form, you can throw it back on the pyrex dish, heat and stir... It's definitely possible but the oil would have to be shattery like glass (or hard candy). If it's BHO honey oil, sometimes I find it a bit more difficult to budder from that state. Depends how much heat the honey oil was introduced to during the process.

Obviously this is true and relates to almost all if not every substance in the world. Whether it's THC and cannabinoids, food, alcohol, whatever. If all you're smoking is oil, your tolerance will rise noticably. So if you don't want this to happen you need to keep your habits in check. Personally, I like BHO too much and don't care.
