Started a DK and been levelling mining/skinning so my DK can make profit by gathering (Main: Mage for aoe farming and raiding). Mining thorium and amg! Thorium Barx20 sell for 60 - 100g :O
Though really I find the best way to make gold is to resell stuff on AH for profit, I'm doing quite well reselling frostweave cloth, gems and abyss crystals for a little bit over the price ^^
Kharmaa's Grace can be bought for marks and sold for 200 - 300g ish, nice if pvp isnt for you
