How did you list 70 christian rock and metal bands but manage to leave out the best ones? Narnia, Theocracy, Majestic Vanguard, Immortal Souls, Rob Rock, Jacobs Dream, Stryper, Divinefire and Seventh Avenue? (All great metal bands)

No Petra, Project 86, Norma Jean, or Staple? Kick Bands like Jonah 33, Alter Bridge, 12 Stones, and Fireflight; add the ffour I mentioned and you got a much stronger list IMO.

And I truly truly truly appologize for all the bands I missed, Truthfully I LOVE Stryper and Tourniquet and forgot them... I really wish I hadn't and I admire Stryper, the creators of Christian Metal. So I truly appologize becaus they should top the lis
Most of them are not CHRISTian. Here're 3 reasons why
1. The term "CHRISTian" means that it's about Christ. If a song or an album is about anything but the Christ of the New Testament, it's not CHRISTian (1 John 4.2-3).
2. True CHRISTian music is pure and clean from the world (1 John 2.15-16).
3. True CHRISTian does not put a man in the center of attention (Jeremiah 17.5). If the accent is on "I", "We", "Our" and "Us" but not on God and His word, it's not a mature Christianity, to say the least.
@SerJahPhoto very true. but also realize. we as huans adapted to the changes in life style and many people listen to metal anyway. is it not better to get people to listen to christian metal then music like cannibal corpse. whitechapel and such??
@daynnight11 Here's what i see. This whole "christian metal stuff is a door into the Satan's metal. I know by myself. Here's the typical scenario. You start with some "christian" metal, then you start look around and notice that the secular (satanic) metal has a way better sound and technique.. So you begin to listen to that too.. And as a "religious" metalhead you try to justify your metal addiction by lame excuses...That's how i became backslider, and only by God's mercy i'm delivered now...
@SerJahPhoto Thas why you gotta look for the Christian bands that can actually match up with secular ones....like Disciple... I went from secular to Christian and it is hard....still there are some Christian bands out that can be called actual rock.

Check out Beware The Neverending, Excurses, Encore Prada, Rogers Met An Aranian, The Gun Show, The Twelfth Amethyst, The Empty Tomb, At The Throne Of Judgement, Blood Of The Martyrs, On Solid Ground, and 7 Horns 7 Eyes. Those are all good christian metal bands, I could keep on naming alot more

Stryper (without them, there is no Christian metal as we know it)
