this song does not only suite the Celts it also suits the Cathars and how they've lived their lives in persecution and in the end were released from the "tyrant's stroke" through satisfied death...its sad but releasing somehow...the words are heartrending
i find it hard to pick jsut one of her tracks, i mean i ahve aplay list with 30 songs it be a eather, Incantaion, Dante's Prayer, Gates of Istanbul, speak loudist to me but each and ever song is my favoute.
Tout en Loreena est un enchantement, elle arrive à nous faire entrer dans l'univers des songes, ils deviennent réels et magiques. je deviens ce que je veux, je suis aussi légère que l'air , tout en entouré d'un halo de lumière céleste. Le paradis
magic of celtic tones combined beautifully with roman ones sent thru the channel of Loreena's VOICE VESSEL and washed in her profound, charming personality. could we ask for more?
thanks going to Jastus1 in deep gratitude for this ARTISTIC expression of time, words and cultures.
@krysant50 : You are welcome. If I could name one song that is not just my favourite but much much more, it would be this. The story is long and does not concern everyone but "Cymbeline" means a lot to me personally. And I know this will sound morbid (perhaps) but I want this to be the last piece of music I listen to before I close my eyes forever.
supreme music transposition for celtic king Cymbeline's legend . it's Shakpespeare's play turned into music!! brings me back to those times when the celts seemed to be in good relations with the romans. shows it with notes. Amazing!!! Loreena is the best!!
@Lyuba2000 Cunobelin kept "peace" in southern Britain by being the top dog and maintaining friendly relations with Rome, but after his death, the cracks showed, Rome decided to invade, and his son Caratacus led the resistance against Roman invasion. This is a piece on Cunobelin's death, yes? All great kings come to dust. Greater ones rise up :) ;)
@rhiannon14982 thank you..that was what I'd read some time before posting that comment. I must have read the wrong explanation! :-) king-->dog..thank you, I appreciated!

This song always reminds me of the television show "Roar". It was a very great show, and it should not have ended so soon.
This song played on one of the saddest parts in the series. I do not want to ruin it for anyone, but you should definately watch it.
Thanks for sharing this song on youtube. I can hear it all the time now.
