  • i agree HPI is shit,rc drifting, stock cars and racing is getting big here in new zealand, and tamiya and kyosho are FAAAAAAAAAAAAAAR superior and better in every way than HPI, HPI was released for same thing, but for younger audience,in other words, for kids, tamiya electric rc's arnt toys in reality, who would give a "kid" a $300 rc car?

  • @xiaoxeno Hi there, well the kit is just car chassis and parts. You need to assemble these parts plus u need to buy motor, ESC, Servo, controller (TX), receiver (RX), batteries and chargers etc. This is called a kit. There another type which is called RTR. For RTR, everything is included except battery and charger. You can visit rctech.net and read some infos on RC. We have Singapore section

  • you look pretty wealthy

  • i add u as a friendd

  • fack so cool

  • where to buy the headlight n how much did u buy for the car

  • where u get the headlight?

  • wheres a good place to get these online?

can anyone recomend me a car? these are nitro right?

  • Oke thnx :) and hpi is more better or the same like yokomo?

  • HPI Chassis are shit.

Tamiya are very good begginers cars and higher spec chassis such as the ta05 are good for intermediate drivers.

Yokomo are the aces of the electric drifting world the prices are a bit steep mind :]

  • well u say hpi are shit what you driving a fuckin electric tamiya iv got a petrol hpi maverick and can drift it SICK so get a real car dont go boying other people off that have better chassis and cars den you IN UR FACE!!

  • hpi are far over-rated and you know it, your just pissy that you paid too much for a shit car.

i admit Tamiya Nitro models are terrible but the electric tamiyas fucking own HPI.

  • not true hpi model's are soo much more powerful and stronger tamiya is cheap shit!! and hpi aint expensiv at all ur probly just fukin poor or summink hpi is just normal price

  • No i am not poor you'r the one thats more likely to be as you even type like a sket. Please stop wasting my time as you clearly have a poor level of technical knowlege. the majority of HPI models are made for children. They produce only a handful of good products from the seperate division of Hot Bodies.

I am serious, please stop wasting my time.

  • Yeah these thing r sick

  • But what is better Tamiya or Yokomo? and what is difrends? some one tel me? thanks

  • tamiya is for starters its easier to handle whereas yokomo is bit harder to handle but it can do more

  • No actually the yokomos are easyer to handle. The geometary can have a much more precise set-up in comparison to the tamiya chassis. the only reason that tamiya models are a better choice for beginners is because they have most things included wheres the yokomos are pretty bare and tamiya models are accompanied by a dramatically smaller price tag.

  • Oke thanks for info :)

  • tamiya shop at yisun selling for 299..

  • where can i buy one of these ?

  • you can get them off Ebay bro

just type in tamiya drift or rc drift

  • lol i chased ppl up and down my street with mine on mischief night xD

  • whats the name on the song

  • One Call Away by Chingy

  • Where can I buy this on the internet? Link please.

  • did it come with electronics. and how much?

  • Lo primero aprende a hacer drift y a gravar¡

  • esta hido

  • did your head lights and backlights came with it or u bort it? it looks sick

  • how did u fit the lights?

  • wat song

  • where can u find rc cars in SG pls tell me asap ty:)

  • Try Stargek at Paya Lebar. Its the official Tamiya dealer. You can find all models there. If not try Swan Models at Orchard Plazz (Level 2). Prices are cheaper than Stargek. And in Swan Models they deal with all kinds of brands like Tamiya, HPI, etc etc

  • ty:)

  • how much are one of these cars? i am singaporean too..

  • Assembly kit costs around $300 i think. The RTR version (Ready to Run) costs around $450.

  • @Rohitx are tamiya's arond the $300 range and is it worth the money into an rc car i am intrested in getting the bmw m3 e30 with drift spec?

  • @byakuyanub the rtr is around $230.

  • @byakuyanub Like Around $400+

  • Nice car! I have the normal TT-01 coppermix with LED and sport tuned rnotor.Does someone knows what I need to upgrade/change to drift?

  • Well you can change the tyres to drift faster, are change the rims to make the car nicer if you know wat i meen.

  • just the wheels-drift, and shocks-soft

  • is that an electric type? or nitro? i'm thinking of buying... well i have little knowledge with these things...

  • Get a nitro,it go's faster and langer .

  • nice ass car where did u get this car or wht website u know tht might have this cuzz i was looking at the hpi street sport drift two nice vid too

  • Wats the name of that son?

    = ?

  • One call away by Chingy

  • i know a place you can buy it for $189,-.

    = )

  • Buy the car. For $189,-

  • how is tt01d better than tt01?

  • If you buy TT-01 there are some stuffs that you eventually need to upgrade. With TT-01D those basic upgrades are already installed. I mean it comes with the chassis.

  • thx rothix for the info. I will check up my local rc store in Perth if it could beat sg prices.

  • Alright man. Enjoy RC hobby

  • I was like u.....i was also scared to assemble so i bought the RTR version. So after i bought it, i deassemble and assemble again. This way i learnt.

  • For this TT-01D (Nissan Silvia) the LED lights were included.

  • I think i paid $450. Then added battery and charger which cost me around $120. So total $450+$120=$570. That depends on what battery u buy. Mine was 4500 niMh.

  • Right im buying the EXACT same car..... so the battery shuld be 7.2v and the one i picked got 1400mAh.... is tht ok?how much runtime will i get? help pls...

  • oh and i picked a 1600 mAh one also.... so i dunno beetween the two.... can help?

  • Well the 1400mAh or 1600mAh might only give you 15 minutes or so. I am not too sure. I had 4500mAh and it only gave me close to 20 minutes. Now i am using Lipo which gives me 1 hour of play

  • mAh is basically something like a Fuel Tank. The more mAh u have the bigger tank u have. So if you have 5000mAh u can run longer and if you have 1000mAh u run lesser time.

  • @Rohitx the car i want to get has a NIMH 7.2V 3000MAH batt what would it be like

  • @Rohitx how long would a (LIPO 5000MAH 2S 7.4V 20C) last

  • @Rohitx wht about volts, how much i need?

  • Not too sure in km/h. But pretty fast for me to handle.

  • Rothix, where did u buy your car? in malaysia or singapore? and how much does it cost? - cause im going back to malaysia 4 holiz and Im looking foward to buy TT01D RC RTR NISMO Coppermix Silvia. Just wanna know how much its cost.

    Thanks

  • I bought in Singapore. I bought the RTR version which costs me around $400. Then had to buy battery and charger on top of that.

  • how much do these car costs

  • can i ask....every time u go which place and play your car...

  • Every Saturday evening i go for Bukit Batok Drift Meet. Its happens at Bukit Batok Bus Interchange (3rd floor) from 8pm onwards.

  • ok....than u got go east coast park there and play??....

  • Na i don't go there. Never played there before.

  • u go try at east coast park there and play la....there got track.... i most of the time i at there play my drift car....and the place is near macdonald....

  • I had the same one but i battered the shell completely- One side of the bumper fell off when i crashed, the whell arches split in two,etc...

  • hey really nice car, I was looking for it too but it was nowhere to find, where did you buy yours? thanks

  • yo are u famous cuz i see ur name everywhere

  • Lolz. Na man i am not.

  • how can i get these cars in singapore other than buying online?? and how do the cars drift?? you make it drift on its own or you need drift tyres?? and how much does 1 car cost in SGD???

  • Visit Stargek (Tamiya Dealer) at Paya Lebar or Swan Models at Orchard Plaza Level 2. If you are looking for assembly kit then this might cost you ard S$300. And yes the tyres make it drift.

  • do you get non drift tyes with it?

  • Mine came with T-drift tyres.

  • supp dude, nice vid. ur a better drifter then me lol i either spin out, go to ast or ccrash into the wall lol. do u have any suggestions on how to tune it up?? i have the same ride but i want to hop it up a bit, any suggestions?? like less the $50 australian dollers.....

  • Dude basic hopups are aluminum propeller shaft, ball bearings and motor mount heat sink. Probably with A$50 u may add in the adjustale tie rod. And get spur n pinion gear ratio od 25/55T. That is man and start drifting. There r more hopups if u have more budget. But its not necessary as its just a part of bling blings.

  • The more practice you do the better u'll get at drifting. Just remember to be gentle on throttle when u r new. And attend more drift meets if u have near ur place. Coz there'll be senior drifters there to help u out and that's the best way to learn

  • ok thx bro

  • darn does anyone know where to get this kinda car in indonesia...

  • hey r u indian?
