Heard DA2 was crap so I didn't buy it.
Beta tested SWTOR didn't buy it because it was crap. I can't see where the potential is, considering cinematic cutscenes and fully voiced is their main feature. There's no way they can churn out enough content to satisfy the MMO crowd.
Probably won't buy Mass Effect 3...or any Biodrone game again.

I might be alone i thinking this, but the reason I didn't enjoy DA2 as much as DAO was simply the lack of motivation. In DAO you had a clear goal, assemble your army and stop the blight. The companions were easy to bond with and care about, so you were motivated to protect them (or at least the ones you liked..). In DA2 it was just defeat one enemy, new bad guy appears. Defeat him, new bad guy appears. Defeat him, new bad guy appears. Etc, etc. Like they just made it up as they went along.
...I liked the game... I've played on both PC and console, and I still liked it. I'm not a person who looks too closely at detail. "Ooo that texture is off" "Ooo the areas are all the same!" I care about storyline. I liked it. I loved the DLC's and the sidequests. Hell, I'd do as many sidequests as possible before doing the main story line, because it was just that fun. Its not for everyone, but DA2 WASNT terrible, at least, not for me.

As a game in it's own right, it's pretty decent. It was a fun playthrough but not something I want to keep coming back to. However, as a sequel, it fails miserably on so many levels. It's the difference between Kotor and Kotor 2

But Morrigan was also too hyped, anyway.

I thought DA2 was ok... but rushed. Combat was better in some respects. Not a fan of wave combat, though. Story was ok, but too short and not enough leg room. I liked the characters a lot, but felt the romance options were... too limiting. Not by number, but the fact that they're so... extreme in their views, with only one, who happens to be female. So the females who want to romance males are SOL...
Alistair and Zevran were better in that respect, I think.
I played DAII for about half an hour and haven't touched it since. The biggest disappointment I felt was the difference in combat. I was using 2H, so I don't know about the other ones, but I have now beaton Origins several times.

It's a lot more than 30 if you do ever single side quest there is. What it is is claustrophobic. The recycled environments and 1 setting are what kill it. It was a huge distraction. I played them out of order, so I guess I was really into the story...and it had a great story... but it was like ground hogs day. Now that I played origins, I see where both are superior the other in some ways. I setting was awful (night and day don't count as 2). I think 3 will kick arse.

@Kserijaro No, no we didn't. That's an overused generalization. We got the same not even half finished, storyless cash grab with boring design, dull repetitive combat system (press win button to win!), repetitive environments and bland characters that PC gamers got. You can't blame console players for a game flawed at an almost purposeful level. You can mock the idiots that loved the game, of which I personally know there are some PC players as well. NO REAL GAMER WANTED THIS GAME.

@BaneOfLannister i didnt see it that way. No flame intended, but look at the statistics. Every times a PC only game got the sequel X to a console(Skyrim and then this) the games sucked major ass. I mean Skyrim for pc and a console inventory menu. But i agree with you! Its just my old school gaming weeps inside that people eat and glorify these kind of trash games.

I thought DA2 was ok... but rushed. Combat was better in some respects. Not a fan of wave combat, though. Story was ok, but too short and not enough leg room. I liked the characters a lot, but felt the romance options were... too limiting. Not by number, but the fact that they're so... extreme in their views, with only one, who happens to be female. So the females who want to romance males are SOL...
Alistair and Zevran were better in that respect, I think.

I played DAII for about half an hour and haven't touched it since. The biggest disappointment I felt was the difference in combat. I was using 2H, so I don't know about the other ones, but I have now beaton Origins several times.

It's a lot more than 30 if you do ever single side quest there is. What it is is claustrophobic. The recycled environments and 1 setting are what kill it. It was a huge distraction. I played them out of order, so I guess I was really into the story...and it had a great story... but it was like ground hogs day. Now that I played origins, I see where both are superior the other in some ways. I setting was awful (night and day don't count as 2). I think 3 will kick arse.
