I Also was a backsliding christian and i saw the negativ effects it had in my life.
God has heared my cry, and gave me the strength to repent with all my heart.
Now i am on the right way again and i can feel his presence in my life.
to all backsliders NEVER GIVE UP HOPE!. even though the evil one wants to make you believe you can never get right with god again . God is merciful if we truly confess all our sins.And repent with all our heart!
The only thing that confuses me is if a believer sins, this seems to imply he will lose his salvation unless he repents, in which case he gets it back, but then loses it again if he sins again. This suggests salvation goes back and forth as a believer sins/repents, which seems confusing

I needed to seek God through the testimonies of others to be able to believe that it could be possible that God could ever forgive me. I also want to publish my testimony to inspire other backsliders to trust that God's love and mercy are invincible, no matter what anyone else says or thinks. It's been rough going for me, but God is seeing my way through. Amazing.

Very nice. I wonder about the part where you say there is no 2nd chance. There will be a resurrection of both the righteous & the unrighteous (Acts 24:15). That sounds like a second chance for the unrighteous.Revelation speaks of a "second death". Still seems youre correct for it is he who endures to the end who will be saved (Matt 10:22). I have trouble harmonizing those 2 concepts. Doesnt matter in the end,for what is required of me NOW is still the same.Thank you for your message!
