  • Rear heel should always be up especially when in kick stance...

  • well done and thanks for sharing!

  • After all this training, he was knocked out in the first 5 seconds.

  • very good training! as for the man himself in my humble opinion he is a very good fighter. nice power and technique. he could be faster though. other than that very good. the only thing left now is to see his stamina and more complex combinations on the mitts. i just saw simple ones.

  • the best muay thai training...!!!

  • not bad lad good low kicks and counters just watch dropping the right hand after the last punch and to everyone sayin his kicks are no good seriously learn somethin before opening your mouth again

  • Nice video!!!

  • i dont want this 2 sound mean but

u shoudnt use exercise machines, use free weights they engage tour stabiliser muscles more which is beneficial for a fighter or for that matter any athlete. :)

how did this man get on in his fight?

    win or lose? im curious

  • To those posers that say he dosen't look pro..stfu and lets see what you got. Maybe its the mats but you seem to keep your feet flat. You get more leverage and speed if you keep your heels off the mats. Looks like you still could knock out some loser posters.

  • just by watching you train, you look terrible. Learn to kick right before you go pro.

  • can u train to better music please??

  • I Wish To Watch your Fighting Matches Can you Give Us The Link Of your Fight?

  • For the curious, this was just one day out of a 6 day training regiment. Some days were light, some with sparring, etc... Anyway, for the curious, I totally ripped my knee apart a few weeks later doing BJJ. If I had been younger, I would have just rehabbed the knee and trained again, but as I was 39 at the time, I just rehabbed the knee and decided to "just coach". I regret it a bit, but I'm still having fun anyway. PEACE!

  • @kneeinyourface This is what you get for listening to Creed... j/k.

  • doesnt look pro but thats just him training i need to see him fight

  • let it be!! sorry

  • how'd this fight go? I hope you blasted out the guys leg, you have a good low kick

  • professional my ass

  • What was that? Where is your sparing? The work outs looked lax at best, not something I would ever film and post. Not trying to offend you but sparing is more important then all of what was shown on that video. Show some hard sparing with good form with no (rockem sockem robot) and then I will take you seriously.

P.S it was a well edited video, good job on making it.

  • i dont know if you noticed, but there is a dead green man lying in your gym on the floor.

  • Looking really good, brother!

  • Them kicks are awesome mate very impressive, shin in,hip in through the bag. Keep it up mate

  • the problem is that when u step in the ring n have a real fight ... its a whole diff. world like w.e u had trained just goes away , u don remmber i dono its just weird but of course the more u train the better u'll be than ure opp. keep it up

  • Good training man. You look pretty sharp. Seeing that this is an old video, how did that fight go?

  • ''Thekneeinyourface'' woow what a cool name! you must me so mature! and this comes from a 15 year old.

  • säger killen som heter rosatraskor

    hahah:D!

  • haha, men det är sant. kneeinyourface, vilket jävulst kaxigt namn.

  • if you know anything about muay thai... thats what happens....

  • you're a douche

  • It's actually just "Kneeinyourface." You must be so mature to make fun of someone's alias.

  • dude hes got some nasty ass kicks on the bag. and knees. i wonder what weight class hes at.

  • well if its pro would have to be heavy weight, any pro middle weight fight would rip him to shreads

  • Nice low kicks!

  • did you win ?

  • i think training in nature is the best way to train!!!

  • agree with akuma's comment

  • @Akuma31er that shit only cuts it in movies lol

  • weapon

  • best of luck

  • looks good man, working hard!hope your guy dose not no how to block A right leg kick and I didn't see 1 left kick.Other then that looks good :)

  • i saw a left... it just transitions so it gets cut out

  • he leaves his face open for a nice jab/cross

  • Nice video, some good pad work. But I didn't see any sparring and your trainers didn't hit you very hard.

  • yeh im startin muay thai at the MMA (melbourne martial arts academy, not mixed martial arts :P) in melbourne. anyone know a good place to learn mma in general as opposed to two or three individual styles?

  • kimekai in chelsea.

    hanger 4 in preston.

    malvern martial arts in malvern.

  • omdz people hes onli getting prepared

  • no offence mate but my fighters would destroy you. your too slow and goofy on the focus mitts, your work rate on the bag is basiclly non existent and your pad holders look just as unco ordinated as you. You need speed and power work dude. Pyramid kicks and knees, plyometrics and good hard sparring. As well as lots of drills. At least you got a decent low kick.

  • Why say no offense followed by my fighters would destroy you.you're not even giving constructive critiscism you're just being critical. He's not as bad as you make out bro

  • mate im just keeping it real and telling it like it is. Its muay thai not tiddly winks. Mr Shakur. What you doing imitating the legendary rap artists name anyway? Anyway, he is just too slow to be a pro. So shut the fuck up if you dont know shit

  • How do you know i dont know shit? i trained for 2 years in boxing at northside boxing on the shore of auckland and have done muay thai for 3 years at the best gym in new zealand.where you train son? and i aint imitating anyones name.its just a name.i find it funny though how your named after a cartoon.fag

  • i run my own club in palmerston north with 9 fighters & 30 beginners. Im from otara and trained in boxing at sains in otahuhu and david tuas gym in mangere and won the golden gloves in 1994,95,96. Trained with phillip lamb, lolo heimuli, tojo, pathai in the late 90s. Trained with Mark hunt & felise leniu in the early 2000s. Im the former tba,wmc cruiserw8 and heavyweight champiopn had 30 fights,23wins 5losses,2draws and 18kos muay thai. 16 fights in boxing, 14 wins 2 losses and 9kos.

  • I trained under lolo in balmoral and train under phillip lam now and have been for awhile aye.i respect you have a gym and shit but don't apreciate anyone telling me to shut the fuck up aye

  • sorry man, my deepest apologies. how many fights you had?

  • he hes a lot of things that he s doing wrong, but he is not that bad... althought,he might not be ready to go pro...

  • na man, you right. farfrom going pro

  • hahahah Yeah that was pretty offensive!

  • Yeah that was pretty offensive hahahhahaha

  • never seen an irish muay thai fighter lawl!

  • hmm there are some wooden dummys for wing chun

  • how did he go in the fight ? he doesnt bridge the gap when he punches. he looks like he would be very easy to hit. Even tho he is a big guy he has to move in and out. else he will become a punching bag. get him doing some shadow sparring to help increase his speed

  • he aint bad, but he dont look lik a pro fighter, his punches an combinations are too slow.

  • its cuz he's training man.

  • Its

    Till I Collapse - Eminem

One of my favorite song, great for muay thai

  • ooo whats this track called???

    eminem - ???

  • his style is pretty good ,i like his blitz overhand rights but can he use his left side for attack ? he only uses it to check

  • Don't know if anyone said but he is using only his right leg? what's whit that? It doesn't work. It has nothing to do with surprising the enemy.

  • He kicked with his left before one of the cut scenes, not many fighters are good with both legs, I'm very partial to my right leg

  • maybe not, but every good fighter trains with both legs equal..

  • dude, you look like you like to sweat....I remember you rolling with Richard Simmons.....it brings back the horror of the two of you together...ohhhhhhh the pain.

  • Good for you buddy! lookin good man! Keep trainin! Im currently trainin for my first MMA or Muay Thai fight. I cant decide,

  • It's good training, but he doesn't look like a pro fighter. I'm sure higher-level amateurs at his weight would give him a run for his money.

  • And I don't mean any disrespect with that statement.

  • i agree with you and i do not mean any disrespect either

  • to duck in muay thai is too catch a square knee, most pros follow with knees and elbow as they do most damage, unlike boxing ducking moves u out of a punch/elbow and into a rising knee. although impressive combo's xD

  • he needs to stop dropping hands after throwing them his trainer should pick this up

  • armchair/keyboard warriors with "advice", please post videos of yourself demonstrating how to 'properly execute' the technique, thanks.

  • Nice low kicks and nice uppercut

  • wooow, first fight?? how old are you man?? im just interested, can i start training at any age?? im 20, is it ok for me to start?

  • it's never too late to start training. if you expect to make it pro starting at 20, you just need to work that much harder than if you started at 15. it's all up to you, how hard you train, and how seriously you take your training.

  • I started at 32 yrs. old. Mainly for cardio/self defense, not necessarily fighting, it's a blast. great workout!

  • yupp its never too late dude, i learn muay thai and my teacher start training when he was 24 ....muay thai is the best for street fights i think ....train hard dude

  • All round training is the best for street fighting, need to also have a ground game incase the guy your fighting is heavyer and stronger than you, doesnt matter how quick you are or hard you hit if you get charged like a steam train, Mauy Thai is awsome though

  • i hope you won. excellent motivation and nice form.

  • If it's his first fight that's a little harsh guys, he didn't know any better.

Good motivation man, I hope you did well, but there's always more work to do: The hands have got to stay up all the time, the foot has to retract as fast if not faster than it comes out and if you ever put your fist out make it a solid punch, pawing at the opponent is a great way to let a good opponent inside your guard. Still - props for having the motivation to do it

  • I'm guessing he lost his first pro fight, if not that is a pritty weak circut

  • Nice vid man, props. the music is motivational!

  • you drop your guard on every kick. someone fast is gonna catch you.

  • I think your mistaking his generating torque for dropping his guard. Muay Thai fighters drop one hand to help generate more power from the hips and also maintain balance. If done properly your footwork should keep you out of punch range.

  • yeah thats true. bigbadmaypen u should look up more vids and notice most fighters drop but pick back up to gain the momentum. i catch myself doing that sometimes. i stopped though.

  • Not the way i train. I run and hit ffs.

  • this is not the way to train. lifting..no way strike and get out of there. and too much body fat. dud you are flat footed. get on your toes! your instructor should be kicking the crap out of you. no pads if youre triaining for your fisrt fight as a pro. i hope you dont get hurt cause you should take legal action against those instructors if you get hurt. have a bunch of work to do

  • um yeah and how many fighters & champions have you trained?

  • did you notice it said "Monday training" on the video? lifting won't hurt you if you do it in a routine. It also showed him on the elyptical doing cardio. He was obviously working techniques and combos. I'm sure his "trainer/coach" had some guys do some full contact sparring with him other days leading up to the fight. Techniques looked crisp.

  • im tryin every thing he did !!!(LOL) im serious

  • do anybody know some good workout songs?

  • head to the barricade by limp bizkit

  • The rocky training song. From the rocky movies offcourse.

  • yea fill me whit power

  • hey, does anyone know the song

  • eminem-till i colapse

  • thanks...its a good work out song

  • Is it just me, or is this guy "pushing" his low kicks? It really looks like he's pushing the bag with his leg, instead of trying to snap the kick and make the bag bend. I used to have this bad habbit, but I've been correcting it. But it looks like this guy does it big time.

  • he's just putting power in the kick, aiming to destroy the leg, if you don't put all your weight in like when you do a snapkick you won't do the damage

  • eerm your not supposed to snap your legs in a thai kick. your supposed to kick through the target.

if your snapping your kicks then your being taught wrong.

  • whats the name of the song in the background

  • The song is by Eminem (spelling?), and I think it is called "Collapse" but I can't remember.

  • Awesome!

  • what song name?......i wanna learn muay thai sometime..i think its the best fighting style

  • at 3.08 you really do some weird shit... did you trip? Oh you did it again at 4.40, thats funny dude!

  • Hmm, I'm not sure what you saw; it might be the superman punch? That looks weird to someone who hasn't seen it before. Was it like a fake kick and then sort of a lunging punch?

  • For lack of a better title we call it a "Troy punch" and it's basically a fake kick/knee that's turned into and a hopping punch. Can be quite a useful if not overused but lacks the power of a decent straight punch from the rear hand.

  • osu, and respect if it works... but it seems that doing that kick you re quite exposed to a devestating mid kick which can really sweep you off your feet.

  • yeah i wish i could do Muay Thai but there are no places to train here in NZ at least where i live but i do kickboxing and we do elbows and knees but nothing like this

  • Where do u live bro? Plenty of good fighters in NZ with some pretty solid gyms like Sefo Academy and Lollo's in Balmoral around the Auckland area.

  • cool video! I hope you did well, Muay Thai looks like an amazing style, too bad there isnt a good place to train in my area :(

  • your pretty shit, ill break you in half

  • Your a dorky kid surfing the Net for 15 year old porn and eating nachos. Go back to your ballet training and pretend that you know something about football... I bet you never even made the team.

  • lmao its so true, people who got nothing better to say are fat lazy ugly no life computer geeks...Nice training...Sawadeeka Muay Thai NZ Queenstown!

  • did u win?

  • Never happened, ended up getting a good job, but one that required 10 hour days. I just couldn't get all the training in that I needed. But it was fun anyway. I've resigned myself to coaching others now; I'm too old to jump in and do it again.

  • For all you arm chair warriors out there, just go find a trainer and train. Keep in mind this is only Monday training. Tuesday involves live sparring, as do Thursdays. Only a few clips from training are shown, and of those, only Monday's. This isn't a "how to" video. Go get a Boxing, Muay Thai, and BJJ coach and train!

  • men i think the kid in the blak cloth, is better then u men, he has a good high kick

  • I noticed that you drop your right hand every time after the 2nd cross of "basic four". Hope you don't do that in the real fight. good luck.

  • good luck

  • nice this video is motivating for me a year into training, thank you very much for sharing. Good luck in the future! = )

  • hi guys im new to muay thai and i was taught to twist my hips when i kick but i still cannot understand does anyone mind giving me step by step instructions on how kick with all my power? and how would you train your hips to get more power?

  • relax when throwing your kicks and plenty of practice on the heavy bag.

  • Just curious because i'm abou the same age. I'm looking into Muay Thai as a way to get in shape. I know they do extensive cardio.

  • Oh yeah, most people I know just do all the training and never get in the ring... just to be in shape and have some skills if they need them.

  • Ya you seem in shape, I need to get into this. Would you buy a video or go to a muay thai gym for someone starting out?

  • Go to gym, you won't regret it trust me.

  • i think u should go to the gym they will give u better and more personall training then videos do but u can always watch videos to look at technieks in more then one way...

  • Hi thiswonksx2- you dont conscioulsy twist the hip - its the rolling over of your foot so that you toes are almost upside down and throwing back your back hand that brings the hip in and the power.thia kicks actually start off heading up then start to head down again. look at my kicking clip.

  • keep going

  • u suck!

  • Is Vince from the Philippines?

  • Yeah, originally from the Phillipines, then lived for a long time in the USA, and now lives in China.

  • If interested, my coach Vince Soberano, just fought and won in Thailand... type or copy/paste the following in the search box...

2007 World Muay Thai Championships Queen's Birthday Thailand

  • If you don't mind, how old arer you and how long have you been practicing muay thai?

  • No it's cool. I'm now 37 and getting too old for this stuff anymore. I've always been good as a coach and I'm now planning on just staying in shape and coaching young guys. I started Muay Thai in 1994.

  • Haha seems everybody has some input either way man I would honestly listen to your trainer above everybody else I mean how can somebody know how you really fight unless they are involved day in and day out. If your trainers are worthy they'll teach you everything you need to come out on top in your fights

  • Hey, everyone is entitled to their own opinion, I don't mind. I judge myself in the ring. I've been in the ring with many Thai pros, including Champions, and weathered the storms... that's how I judge.

  • Hey, the point is that you're training and competing as a pro. I've known lots of VERY good pros who don't look nearly as tough in training as they do in the ring. Good luck in the future!

  • I train with some people that are pro in muay thai. Believe me, the way you train does not tell much about how you fight as I see the pros at my gym perform better when they fight. One of them is undefeated in the area and has won all of his pro fights by way of ko. Keep it up.

  • Please don't go pro yet. I'm not taking the piss, bud; you're just not ready.

  • Greetings everyone! As far as the advice goes, I have no problem taking all I can get, my appreciation to everyone. As for kicking high, I do them alot and often, but that particular day just happened to be combos with low kicks. But I prefer kicking the legs, it just feels good smash a good one on the thigh and then see the look of pain on their face. And of course, it is true that the low kicks set the high kicks up nicely.

  • You guys need to cut him some slack. some of you may have better technique than him but it's all about fighting. Who goes in there knows what works and what doesn't. And if he's not kicking high is because he's emphasizing his low kicks as you set high kicks with low kicks in mt.

  • Dude, i saw you kick with your left leg like once... If you're not comfortable kicking with left leg, you better start training it, otherwise you will be too predictable with few options...

  • he needs to kick higher. i'm not being a bitch, but yoga or pilates can help limber him up more. i never saw a kick really like above waist. he needs to be able to deliver a front kick that could reach the face or throat.

i'm 5'1 and i can kick a 5'10 man in the neck. he needs to limber up a bit, but the strentgh of his kick isn't bad. any martial art is a process. he's not claiming to be muay thai king of the world. just him some slack.

  • the best fighting skill is ground and pound when your on the guy he has no punching power and tires him out trying not to get hit

all you need to know is wrestling juijuts su (cant spell) kick boxing

  • cmon domestics, a good fighter never turns down good advice, its not like any of em where goin 'boo, ur no good, i could beat u wid one hand tied behind my back'

  • i agree man noones writin him off... its true if u really want to be a decent fighter u gotta take all the advice u can get.

  • no offense mate but im an 18yr old aussie with only 3 fights n the best thing i saw u do in the whole vid was the baulk pushkick to left cross at 4:40

how did u do? and how much clinchin work do u do cause thats so important

n yeh i agree with the others...use both legs n u need to more stretchin to kick higher...u shouldnt even hav to do weights it should all fitness and ringwork.

muaythai is the ulitimate tho keep it up.

    peace.

  • Yeah the clinch is like pivotal to all Muay Thai. Especially if you intend to move into the world of MMA where you can easily get slammed.

  • looks good did you win?

  • Kick off your front leg more, kick higher, use your left leg, ive done thai, mma & blacktiger kickboxing for most of my life so i know what im talking about

  • I hope you can kick a little higher than that...

  • Nice, i started muay thai a few months ago and i love it.

Whats the name of this song??

  • Artist Eminem feat. Nate Dogg

    Song: Till I Collapse

    Album: The Eminem Show

  • Whenn you jab dont jab downwards...

  • nice...you are techically quite good...but didn't see a single left kick :D

    so the fight¿????

    saludos :D

  • nice good luck mate

  • i will kick the shit out of u whitie

  • Nice Video!

  • you very good for the first time.try to do more shadow sparring more

  • Nice video. Look a little tense though. Try to loosen up, save a little energy. Not a bad round kick either. I like the cross, liver, right round kick combo. One of my favourites also. Good luck in the future.

  • what weight are you ?

  • poor..

  • his padmen are shit..uni -directional, no straight knee to body , switch to left knee or left kick. Fucking hell. Go to train in thailand it will raise your game. You are supposed to be ready to die after each pad round.

  • what a super vid! how did ur fight go?

  • Hi your kick is quite good and power. However, I suggest don't bend your leg when you kick. Twist a little bit of your waist and use your hip. Then Stregth your leg. Go on man...

  • Nice, go get 'em

  • How did your fight go ?

  • Imagine yourself living with perfect knees, wright it down and tell your self you have perfect knees, Believe u have perfect knees, think im a crazy ass living in lala land just trie it on your self whats to lose.
