  • This was incredibly well done. The parallels in Gwen's life to my own are incredible and to watch her family and friends' open and honest testimonials was a huge lift for me as I can only assume their lives parallel my own family and friends. This movie is a 'must see' for everyone.

  • Thank you very much. I liked the 2nd person format, especially in the beginning. I hadn't really heard "1st hand" friends/family of a trans-person talking about their opinions on transition before. Very illuminating.

...just need to find something just as useful for coming out Vegan to your carnivore Southern family as well, and I'm all set, hehe.

  • This movie touched my heart as there are allot of similarities in our lives. I am currently transitioning myself, and like you Gwen I had a wife. I wish you the best :) God bless.

  • great video gwen, it was very well done. you are so talented and eloquent. You're family is beautiful and your story was touching. I'm a bc born ftm so it was refreshing to see some documented bc blood on queer trans people. I lived in vic for 5 years and now live in mtl where I as well had surgery a couple years ago. Your video has been a connecting experience. Beautiful. Also, I think I have a crush on your little sister! what a dream boat (apologies for being creepy!) Best - Ben

  • Thank you very much.

  • Thanks so much.

  • Thank you

  • Thank you for making this film and for introducing us to your family and friends. And thank you to them for sharing so much of their lives, and the way they responded over time to your honesty, and with such courage. Life is complex, but people have an infinite capacity to love and to overcome. You are all stars. The film is thoughtful and articulate, and something for all grown ups to come to terms with.

  • As an older transgendered person, I can relate to Steven's childhood & the feelings of distance & secrecy that keeping this secret caused him to develop. Gwen; I'm so pleased that you were able to become the woman you always were. While I never transitioned, I can imagine just how difficult, and yet how liberating, it must be to finally let go of the secret & fully express what is inside. Best wishes.

  • Thanks for all you went thru to make this film. I feel so connected with your feelings and experiences. I as a father in my mid 50's have not "enjoyed" the transition you are living.

I am truly happy for the life you have made and am very glad for the family support you enjoy.

  • I'm curious... my film's aspect ratio is 16:9, so I'm curious why it's being presented in 4:3. Everything looks squished! I hope this changes. =0)

    Warmest,

    Gwen
