  • I am truly proud of our men and women in the force who have exemplified themselves to do the right thing. We SALUTE you.

  • if is this true, iam proud of them

  • not all cops are bad... i've met some pretty amazing ones

  • Fack

  • Both resemble one and another..

    Brothers..

In Brazil, if you do not offer a bribe, you will pay a high price in fine tickets..

  • this is very rare. this police officer has honour

  • this is complete FAKE

  • hey Indian police learn something from him

  • maybe he offered the cop a low sum

  • My dad is one of the good police officers..the good thing is he has a high rank and pushes his juniors into behaving themselves!!yaaay.

  • the officer is good looking

  • what a sadistic pric of a cop...he would rather see this guy suffer than make some quick cash

  • @Since1907baby seriously dude? hes following the law and you get pissed? bitch you woulda been pissed too if he would have taken the money! haha

  • @lamefilms no I am pro cop-bribing and anti judge-bribing

  • @Since1907baby youre odd

  • @Since1907baby cops are people who choose to do a job where everyone hates you, you risk your life everyday and get paid shit wages...only person willing to do that is someone with authoritative fantasies / power issues...period

  • @Since1907baby There's some sense in that.

  • @Since1907baby No, some people are better than you. Just because you wouldn't risk your life for that job doesn't mean someone else wouldn't.

  • @Since1907baby I don't hate police. How many do you know?

  • dude this is like propaganda to make people think there country is doing better, it's fake and its made most likely by there government.....

  • this is why africa will group together one day and become as powerful as china and russia combined it will take a while but it will happen haha

  • its fake man................

  • @lovesanger i agree!

  • Good officer, he deserves to be acknowledged for his upstanding integrity

  • @Blueyez623 i agree with you, now days very hard to find a good cop like him.

  • finally a honest policeman doing his job

  • this is fake

  • Very good job.I would be doing the same.

  • i think this trafic police is not a kenyan?

  • There may be still honest cops in third world countries. Or this is all an act

  • the cop is either a very good person or he knew about the camera recoding the event

  • the cop could be the owner of the tow truck calling his driver to catch the kill which would make more than the bribe. In NRB most tow trucks belong to the cops.

  • Good for that guy. Seriously. I wish cops would exercise honesty like this guy more often.

  • The guy should be thrown in prison for atleast 30 days. That should teach them not to try to bribe police men

  • manze hii video ni kali...true reality in kenya...its like home

  • Looks like a PR thing. Its nice but still...

  • kenyans fear prions and jails, once people realise the goverment means business, people are not going to bribe. do not discriminate, all the corrupt ministers, secretaries, should be put in jail with no mercy. the only way kenya is going to emerge into prosperity is to take a no nonsense approach. ok, you are a son of mininster such and such , who cares jail is you next stop and you are not coming out untill you 5 years are served. am i the only one who has this ideas. come on people

  • of course its okay for the united states congressmen to bribe other congressmen with tax payer dollars

  • the cop new he was on film and that is why he decline. do kenyans travel abroad. when our leaders visit the US or Europe, do they learn anything? bribe a cop in the US and you go in for 7 years. kenya needs aleader who does not tolerate corruption. build more jails and clean the courts of corrupt judges, pay the cops well, pick a new attoney general and start locking people up for along time. put them all in jail, my mama , your mama, son, uncle, minister, decon, everyone. why is that hard?

  • Refreshing

  • wow

  • Why does this story strike such a chord??

  • There is nothing extraordinary about this officer to warrant a promotion,he is a criminal just like the rest, calls for a tow landrover that either belongs to him or to a cartel where he is a member and he gets a better deal than the 50 bob from the motorist.

  • and may be is just video by police officers acting , to show that they don't take bribes

  • that is made up story the police knew that the ktn was recording him ktn must have given him some money so he can get promotion and to show good image of the police force they are all corrupt the police will follow the car till police station then demand more money as the money given to him was little

  • Thanks to KTN,the officer is one among many,i wish they can learn from him and put their money obsession aside.KTN ni kiboko yao!!!

  • KTN and Standard newspapers have the best investigative journalists. They have risked their lives in the past to expose corruption and crime in Kenya. Remember the Naivasha school incident, Car Track, mugging in Nairobi, Kindergarten/lodging in Nakury... Thank you, you're not as dormant as NTV.

  • he should be made police commisioner immediately!!

  • And they keep saying that Kenya is a corrupt country...that officer should get a promotion immediately or nominated to be the Police Commissioner right now!!!!!!

  • Do not get too excited, Kenya is still one of the most corrupt places in the world and the Kenyan Police Force still tops the list of corrupt institutions. This police man is the minority.

  • this is what Kenya needs, and believe me it will change.. We need more cameras to catch corrupt people in the act (politicians and civil servants etc...) and they should reward and commend that police officer to highest possible award available.. In fact he should get a raise starting tomorrow and made The Commissioner of Police as of right now.

  • I hardly comment on youtube information from Kenya. I must admit like the rest of Kenyans living in the country and abroad I had written off our country as a done case. If what we are seeing is not performance, then the next step is to take the in the camera to court. In the US you cannot even think of bribing a police officer whenyou are stopped for a traffic offence. You would end up in jail.

  • good cop patia yeye promotion

  • that's all good,.....but I must say that its kinda fishy that this is aired just when a Report showing the rot in the police force has been released.....its written all over this; I mean, what are the odds of a camera crew being at a random spot, and on top of that, catching a good cop doing his job right. It could be true, but I'll stick to my gut, this shit's made up

  • Yeah, could be made up - but then: isn't it scary that this actually is newsworthy enough in Kenya (~ a policeman that isn't corrupt)?

  • you are right it is scary that this made the news.Just maybe this will be the norm rather than the exception

  • Finally some good/positive news about the Ke police!hope the other police can follow the example.

  • this guy should be made the police commissioner

  • good police !
