I'm Japanese and we eat pretty FRESH nice and raw sushi but... I personally have NEVER eaten a live octopus like that in my life, just raw(not moving). By the way, i've seen Japanese people eat live octopus legs at restaurants too. Americans are not open-minded and don't accept cultural diversities. So Americans freak out whenever they see these and think it's something new. Asian special plates are like that since thousands for years now.

I'm Korean and I really enjoy eat living octopus. But swallowing whole octopus is dangerous, seriously. There's a danger that someone who swallowing whole it is suffocated by octopus in fault.
