they died because the car flipped off the side. the seatbelt or airbag wouldnt have helped. even if they had either of those, they would not have gotten out in time because the car would have blown up and killed them.

Not exactly. Marissa died of head trama which was caused when her head hit the dash and side. An airbag and seatbelt would of protected her since the impact wasn't too much. They could of both escaped the car before it exploded. Ryan did not get hurt and easily escaped.

If Mischa Barton didn't want to continue the show, I think they should have stopped it. I don't watch the OC, but Marisa and Ryan look cute together, and it's too sad to kill her off. In any case, I hear that the show sucked after her death anyways. Well, that's just my opinion. I'd rather not argue with some illiterate ten-year-old about this, either, so I won't dignify a reply like "OMG R U DRUNK?! THE OC SHOULD NEVER STOP!!" with a response of my own.
