I still feel that the title for this video is not correct.There are Alhamdulillah so many good reciters in the world whom we dont know, we can not call them underrated.

And most importantly its the beauty of Quran whic makes a recitation beautiful whoever the reciter is.

Muslims these days go for the voices, not how well they recite the Qur'an. It's the Qur'anic words that should attract us first before the voice.

it's true that the voice is also important when reciting but as you said the Quranic words are much more important and l don't see any underrated recitor here but the one who made the video didn't choose the right title!!

Yes, it's true that we should focus on what is being RECITED rather than the RECITER. But to each his own favorite 'reciter'

Labeling them by saying under rated by US should have no meaning or shouldn't matter to the Qari's whatsoever. They should always do it for the love of Allah (swt). Of course it's not a crime and never said it was, just implying that we shouldn't say underrated or overrated or he/she is bad or great. Just say Alhamdu'Allah/Mash'Allah etc.. :)

Sorry for the confusion. What I meant by underrated was that they are great reciters but they don't get the credit that they deserve.

For example, I believe that Abdulmehsen, the Imam of Medina, has a spectacular voice, but no one knows about him and no one listens to him. My aim with this video was to expose some of these underrated reciters to viewers that all.
