It is, in fact, quite dangerous to see this as the norm, as normal women will want to mimic the look, despite their bodies not being able to do that. However, I don't find her to be a gross misappropriation of the female body if that's what you mean! If she can reach that look without becoming unhealthy, good for her!

the human body adapts. her organs have simply been shunted up or down and now they are used to their new positions. she doesnt seem to lose any real functionality other than core muscle strength, which for a lady as delicate as she is trying to be is not really an issue. yes, she looks a bit odd, but if she takes the corset off, she doesnt fall down. This doesnt create irreversible damage like those african hoop necklaces which lengthen the neck.
