I love Brenda & Carly scenes! I could not be happier that Laure Wright finally has a formidable opponent to go toe to toe with on screen. Brenda is the perfect achilles heel for Carly. And the subtle 'bitch please" smirks and looks Vanessa give during their scenes together are hilarious. The tension is so thick, you can feel the disdain they have for one another...love it!!

sorry, I just don't see it. Maurice gave an interview on "The View" and said when Carly first came on the show & they (GH) were trying to make them a couple, everybody hated it.. But they were able to make it work. The ratings went WAY WAY down after Brenda left, & CONTINUED to go down as Carly stayed, so I can't really see your view about their relationship.
@neetrab just because you didnt like it, doesnt mean others didnt. Their chemistry was awesome, I am all for S&B and they were and are amazing as you know but the Original Carly and Sonny also had great magic. I do think this Carly and Sonny are great as divorced parents, you see the passion but i dont see them as much as a couple.

One of the main characters they let go... they put cujo in her place.. and feed us her... and ratings went down. I'm sure ratings didn't go SIGNIFICANTLY down because of any other storyline during the 90's.

@pesevere017 Yup. I was mad that the writers never really gave Jax/Brenda's stroy the respect it deserved. If I hadnt watched back then I would think Jax was just a jump-off/ friend for Brenda. That he was just some fly by in the night Knight for her. Or that they only had sexed and never had any emotional connection. Hell didnt she almost marry Jax twice. They didnt even have any Jax/Brenda flashbacks. All the newbies now wouldnt even think that Jax/brenda had some of those hot scenes they had

I love Brenda & Carly scenes! I could not be happier that Laure Wright finally has a formidable opponent to go toe to toe with on screen. Brenda is the perfect achilles heel for Carly. And the subtle 'bitch please" smirks and looks Vanessa give during their scenes together are hilarious. The tension is so thick, you can feel the disdain they have for one another...love it!!

sorry, I just don't see it. Maurice gave an interview on "The View" and said when Carly first came on the show & they (GH) were trying to make them a couple, everybody hated it.. But they were able to make it work. The ratings went WAY WAY down after Brenda left, & CONTINUED to go down as Carly stayed, so I can't really see your view about their relationship.

They know S&B WERE GH and WERE ratings. Why did they lose those viewers in the first place? One of the main characters they let go... they put cujo in her place.. and feed us her... and ratings went down. I'm sure ratings didn't go SIGNIFICANTLY down because of any other storyline during the 90's.

@neetrab Also S/B made the top 10 supercouples of all time, they also got a Soapnet Marathon with Vanessa/Maurice commentaries saying thats what they are. S/B always had other couples as a option. like Lily/Sonny but they were NO match. Some preferred Brax to S/B but again didnt last. Some like Carson, but it dosent meausure up to S/B for many people. @porklab @GreysGHFan - as much as I see people rip Brenda about her "attitude" on the show.. and her being selfish, self-absorbed, and weak... and praise Carly for being the joke that she is... I have to defend my girl. When Bren first came to PC, people were saying how they hated her because she was ruining their favorite couples relationships.. I'm not making negative comments,but you have no problem making fun of Carly's appearances!?! Old S&C (Sarah&Tamara) did have great chemistry! Because of Carly..LOL! I don't remember him going to therapy when he was with Brenda..lol! And it's not like he was with her for a week or a month... but they've actually had a pretty healthy relationship for a few years then they were off and on...

@neetrab No.You're right,Sonny never went to therapy because of Brenda.But the reason why he went to therapy was because he was BI-POLAR. Emily,Jason, and Carly helped him out of Manic depression. That wasn't Carly's fault. This is why Carly doesn't want him to marry Brenda. She is afraid he will get depressed if Brenda leaves him.(And yes she is probably jealous) Carly and Jason have been the ones to help him when he was going down that bad road.

@GreysGHFan - I'm sorry, it's just that I CAN'T POSSIBLY like S&C together or ANY woman with Sonny after seeing what S&B had.. Whenever I had seen Sonny & Carly kiss or anything REMOTELY romantic with their story, I just wanted to throw up...and afterwhile, I just stopped watching GH all together. I WILL say that I think if I DIDN'T see S&B's relationship like...at ALL, I probably would have liked the disfunctional relationship S&C had?? maybe..... so you happy now? lol!

I DO however wish people respected them because of what they did for GH back in the 90's. They were ratings. They were GH.. Just like many fans feel that Jasam is the couple of today...
