In America, we have so much and they have so little. If everyone had it in their hearts to send at leat one dollar to help the funds in African countries or elsewhere, that is all that has to be done.Besides, reasearch, that is the best we can give to them.
One person every ten seconds. That will get worse if no one helps.
this kind of organization is very close to my heart.
i am only 17, and there's not much i can do from the united states.(if there IS anything i can do, though, email me at plinkhugstrees @ hotmail . com)
i once worked at a shelter a lot like this one in belohorizonte, brazil.
i fell in love with those children, and i think about them everyday.
it was so awesome how everything the workers did focused around the lives of these children.
There is no genie in the bottle that will help us with this. We're the genies! If you have it in your heart to send $3 to help, you can join in the worldwide family who takes care of thy neighbor. Let it be said of us all "Here is a dear, true industrious friend" (William Shakespeare)
I was trying to read every one elses mind while i read their response to real life issues like this one , it make me realize that most humans will need reach the stage of Consciousness...there is a need for humans to retrain their mind toward do more and talk less to make the world a fare united loving world....or home as we all are under the same roof
I spent some time in Kenya this summer & have seen similar schools & orphanages. One woman I met was a widow, poor & sick herself, who took in over 20 orphans. Thank you for telling their stories. There voices need to be heard!
WOW! This is so inspiring! I will send long myy love and good wishes as well as some financial help! Good Luck to the children and to you for doing this good work.
Even if you find change in the chair cushion or a crumpled dollar bill in your pocket, this will help. One dollar US will feed 3 kids for 2 weeks. Thank you bridges174 and so many others for comments!!
Makes my life and my trivial difficulties look like crap in comparison to these Nyakans and their struggles. Jesus please forgive me when I complain about anything...
Best of luck and God Bless. I wish i could help and volunteer.I'm 12 years old, Happy Easter wish you love, peace. Love, healthyness, happiness, peace on earth.
Thanks for showing this. This should inspire people to help those children. It's sad for them to have to live like this. Hopefully we could make a difference. And give these kids a better life.
Many of the world's countries can not even balance their own economies, and they have millions of homeless. Not only are incidences such as this prevalent there, but in many other places in the world. Even the United States, which is supposed to be the most wealthy nation in the world has many homeless. The Unites States has over 3 million people considered to be homeless each year. Let's not forget about other countries, but we should fix our country first.
The song at the beginning is "jesus loves me" and if you want to see an evn better documentary, look up one called "invisible children" My dad practically cried it was so moving. I think it's pathetic that america isnt doing anything..and when pple do, they get yelled at for not helping our kids. When if they reli cared, they could do something themselves. I admire those that dont listen...
Africa and Asia are very affected withe AIDS, and the whole world, but i can't understand why this children are suffering, this is a nightmare i really hope you can do this docummental for the future of this childs, greettings from Chile
Uganda is such an amazing country. From "Invisible Children" to Nyaka...how can you avoid being touched by this? God bless everyone involved in this work.
i admire the strengtht of these people and the way they help others... they have my full respect and deepest admiration... please keep on workong on this documentary!
mtwashingtonII, excellent job on the video. I just got back from Uganda (first trip to Africa) this February. Everyone here on YouTube has the power to make a difference. Every individual has the power to make a difference. I saw people making .58 cents a day also working to make the world a better place. Again, thumbs up to you. Be well. Mark Grimes
I applaud the orphanage. I just hope the give the kids a religious choice. Christianity is not the only true religion. Here's to teaching heritage as well. If you have the means, adopt one of these kids.
I am glad a video of relevance has actually been featured on You Tube. At the same time, it is sad that one of the only videos with black people featured has to be of such a sad state of affairs.
Where are you getting that from Piscean? There are plenty of videos with black people in them that are positive. Anyway I will definitely do my part,We cant sit on the sidelines while the world passes us by and do nothing.
This is powerful and I pray to God that people In the world would get involved and make a diference. I thank God for the person who put this on you tube. Praise Jesus.
very nice and inspiring to see people helping their fellow man regardless of race, religion and color simply from the goodness of their hearts and their strong faith in a God who loves us all, well done.
I am an Engl. girl(15)- Holland.Last year I organized a pop festival and 4 playgrounds are being built at the moment for the tsunami child victims in Indonesia. My next project I would like to help blind aids/hiv orphans in Africa. If there are any people who want to help (advice/ideas/help/perform etc)please respond. I have written a song 'This Broken Heart' for anyone who has lost a loved one and one day I would like to record it for the benefit of those children. Happy Easter. Natazha
beautiful, really beautiful, where i cant get this documentary, im from mexico, is going to be show in cinemas?...and the song that sangs the kids, what is the name of that song at the beggining?..very well
We have been hoping to help as well...from one orphanage to another...we would love if you would allow us a video response space...it is one of the few chances we have to allow us exposure...thank you for your time.
Very powerful words, message, and footage. We can help change the world one child at a time. We are in full support for this cause! Good job standing up and increasing the awareness for us all. peace
not everyone just sits back and watches them die if that was true then there would be no video about the problems there many ppl donate time and money to help them

Aids is screaming around the world.
And people still seem to be deaf to it.
Without prevention EVERY person is a potential victim.
It is NOT a "gay-only" issue, it is a HUMAN BEING issue.
Hiv doesn't choose sexual preferences, neither gender, neither financial status. It only needs warm blood to play.
