Commandos 2 is the sequel. After commandos 2, comes commandos 3. That one sucks though. Also there's an fps version of commandos, but that one also sucks.

oh god i played this game for hours on end when I was a kid. And I mean over and over. I loved it! This was my favorite character. He was the strongest, thoughest, most badass commando. He was also the fastest--surprisingly--in behind enemy lines at least.

You must remember the Commandos are all fictional. Sure Green Berets were the elite and tough guys, but they weren't unstoppable badasses like Jack O'Hara here.
