can someone help me?

i have some mods saved in my desktop, to install them onto oblivion, do i need to just drag and drop the esp. files onto the oblivion data file? can someone please tell me how to open the oblivion data file?

Just open up computer from you start menu go to you local disk or C: drive, then program files, then Bethesda Softworks, Oblivion, if the name of the folder the mod is in is "Data" just drag it into oblivion directory, and open oblivion launcher click data files and enable the esp.

If its just an esp. then drop it directly into the data folder and if there are any other folders like: textures, meshes, sounds then drop them into the data directory and when it asks you to overwrite/merge click "yes" Once again use oblivion launcher to activate the mod in "data files"

Mods often come in .rar or .zip files. Simply unrar/unzip the files into your Oblivion Data folder and if it asks you if you want to overwrite, you click YES. Then you enter the OblivionLauncher, click on Data Files and check the mods you want to activate.

By the way, always check the ReadMe. It often contains some important shit.

Hypothetically There is one possible way to get a mod on 360 and that is giving your disk to bethesda while having another disk with the mods you want on it and they could put those mods on the disk but that is again hypotheical
